Seriously. I get that being 1 tapped is really cheesy. But are we gonna ignore the fact that warlocks can also get those cheesy one taps? What about when they run boots of the assembler and give the one tap buff to everyone on their team?
When you are using lorely, half the time you go critical before you get to set up, wasting your barricade.
After playing a lot of trials this weekend (I suck, just figured I’d grind ranks while double rep was on), I can say that I rarely died to lorely titans. In fact, I died more by hunters and renewal grasps (which I don’t think need a nerf, but they shouldn’t stack with chains).
I guarantee this playstyle will die out in a couple weeks anyways. It’s a new exotic, so of course people are gonna be using it. Look at the stag. It got buffed, was used for a month, and then died down. Void is gonna do the same thing.
I have 2 proposals for nerfs (if they do get nerfed):
1. Pre nerf status - this means more sunspots, but you can’t get them in demand.
2. Barricade doesn’t regenerate in pvp when a sunspot is active.
I actually thought of another nerf that I’d be happy with (being a solar titan main 80% of the time).
-get rid of the damage buff, but buff sunspot damage back to where it was (in pvp) and the damage it does in pve. Also, make the regeneration from lorelys heal faster. That would make lorelys more about healing (which it was originally meant to do).

14 RepliesIt's broken. Warlocks can't gain 1 tap ability outside their well. Titans get 5 secs of roaming before they have to recharge. Last week trials was capture zone. And 3 small lanes with lots of cover. Titan bubble and barricade was way more optimal this week which is why you didn't see alot of it in trials. I get my barricade in like 35 seconds. Basically by the time the barricade ends I have another one ready in 10 seconds. Bottom line what kind of gameplay does this promote? Is this fun for anyone on the receiving end? There is no way this was intended. It will be nerfed it's just a matter of time. So give it a couple months because you know how fast acting Bungie is. You do see alot of it in survival and control so if trials this week is say... Widows court I can assure you you will see alot of splendor.
