PS5 Dualsense controller on Steam
hi everyone,
i tried to search for this topic and could not find it, so forgive me if i missed it.
i recently purchased a new ps5 controller thinking it would work just as good as the ps4. which i have no issues with, but for some reason it just is not the same experience. when i do get it to work in game it shows XBOX button layouts. and its a royal pain to try and remap buttons. and it has to be connected with the wire even though i can pair it through blue tooth with steam. also the rumbles dont work or the adaptive triggers which would be amazing,
TLDR is there a update coming soon to make this work properly? if not i will be selling the controller and just sticking it out with my PS4 controller. i really like this controller and dont want to sell it.
can someone at bungie please reply? thanks in advance from a day one vet.

Edited by lone_warrior_87: 4/12/2022 8:37:00 AMMost pads ive tried always say xbox in settings but i did read that u can enroll in to steam bata that supports ps5 pads and as for adaptive triggers dont think u want get that inless you use it on a ps5 and the rumble on the pad is not normal rumble it a heptic feedback so that might not work as well on steam and tbh destiny 2 on ps5 u carnt evan tell the adaptive triggers are been used seems to run as standad triggers
