Lost sector exotic armour not dropping?
Hi is there an issue with exotic armour dropping in lost sectors?
I have done 20 master and legend and have not had one piece drop.
In some cases glimmer was the only thing that dropped, no armour, no weapons at all.
If I am investing my time I want rewards it's ridiculous I spend hours for no rewards.
Please address the issue.

2 RepliesThought I was the only one. 2 days in a row of doing them and got nothing. I understand master is considered common but I've seen post that some players didn't get anything at all other than glimmer. I kill all the champions, after getting used to the sector I've got some completed under 5 minutes and nothing. I waved my hands in the air wonder what I did wrong. Bungie needs to bump up the rng drop. Not allowing you to get one after 2 runs but at least something and not cores. I went from 140 to 195 at the end of the day. I want the new exotic and try them out not run close to 40 runs of nothing

I hate to tell you this, but the exotics are luck based drops and are not guaranteed to show up. You could theoretically play 20, as you did, and not get a single exotic drop. The master lost sectors have a slightly higher drop rate for the exotics, but it’s up to you to decide if that slight buff is worth the increased amount of time they take. It sucks but yea, the drops aren’t guaranteed and its ridiculous that they’re one of the only ways to farm exotic armor. Unfortunately the game isn’t technically bugged or broken by not rewarding you with an exotic. Wishing you better luck with your drops, I hate running multiple lost sectors and not getting anything. May the RNG be in your favor on future endeavors 🍀

My first time I ran the sector over 2 dozen times before I got the exotic to drop. After that I get bored and quit. Some of us just have bad RNG.

Are you killing all champs?

I don’t know why but I’ve had a really easy time getting them in the Throne world lost sectors when they rotate through. It’s seems a lot quicker compared to the other destinations.

Welcome to destiny They want drop rate to be very poor, in a way that’s content to them Also no lifers love it

1 ReplyWell looking at your game history you have a couple legend clears (some of which were not solo and likely weren’t platinum either) and you got clapped in master a few tries so I’d be willing to hazard you haven’t gotten the exotics because you haven’t done the tasks to acquire them

1 ReplyThere is no issue. It's been this way for a long time. You farm, get XP regardless and look for drops. Lost sectors only take 4 or 5 minutes anyway

It drops on the 30th completion

Damn was about to write a similar post.... It hard enough to run it solo but for it to not drop any exotics after so many runs is demoralising. Only miss arms to reach max light and it is not dropping.
