I have spent [i]years[/i] chasing a godroll of The Messenger. This pulse rifle is account-changing for a PvP fan who wants to use top tier weapons. I've got more kills on Pulse Rifles than any other weapon archetype in PvP. I grinded my tail off this past weekend and got flawless after many failed runs. After visiting the lighthouse, I returned to the Tower and picked up my engrams and Saint-14 rep rewards. I hit Rank 16, but only just barely. Still gotta fill up one more XP bar to do the reset! "Might as well take my rank 16 reward. It's nothing special, but it's something," I thought to myself. I logged off for the weekend since it was getting late. Fast forward to today after work. I hear that Saint-14 is offering a [u]free[/u] godroll of The Messenger. I've been waiting years for this! I'm so excited... I log in and head to Saint-14, only to find that the 1-in-2000+ god roll is denied to me. I've already claimed my Rank 16 reward. What the hell??? I got screwed because I wasn't a psychic capable of knowing what the next week's inventory would be. Had I played one or two fewer games last weekend, I'd have a god roll of my favorite weapon archetype. I would give up all the Reputation rewards I've ever received from Saint-14 to click that reputation reward and get the gun I've chased after for so long, but instead I get trash. I get to sit back and watch every joe shmoe pick up their personal copy of this gun while I have to grind for another eon waiting for the perfect combination of either engram RNG or for another lucky chance to get the perfect roll from Saint-14. This feels terrible and makes me want to give up on the game. I have a busy life schedule that keeps me from playing as often as I used to. Seeing S-tier rewards snatched away when I already have so little time to play is infuriating. [b]Is there anything that can be done about this? [/b]
