I knew there was something up with the scorn snipers

I hope this is a known issue. Because if it isn’t, it would be if our weapons had bugged damage.

12 RepliesI posted it to their game issues forum already. I spoke to one of their mentors last night. He responded with naked hostility when I called them out on it so it's pretty clear they know it's broken and are trying to pretend it's the players fault (even though scorn snipers have been a thing since forsaken and this is only coming up now). Odds are a few months from now it will just suddenly stop happening without comment, but if Xur was selling armor that would give players all t10 stats they'd pull the whole game off line until they fixed it. Seriously the ego of these people. They literally cannot bear to say "we made a mistake and are working on it, sorry, it's just hard to make content."

They are no joke. I got 2 shot while playing gambit. Really bummed me out cause I was doing a “in a single life, kill 20 “ bounty and just needed 1 more kill to complete.

I honestly thought they were stealth buffed so that sniper type enemies would live up to their Jackal counterpart from Halo. This realistically should be fixed asap. Any GM that features scorn sniper is gonna be aids. People often like to say resilience and resistance mods don't do much. They do but they aren't gonna do anything against this if it isn't fixed.

I got killed last night by the most random scorn yesterday while I was at full health doing a public event. They are clearly doing way more damage than they should, I might have to put on the sniper mod on my chest to maybe avoid getting one shotted.

Gambit Master and Legendary Weekly Story Master Wellspring Master and Grandmaster Nightfall Legendary Campaign And more! All one shot from Scorn snipers! I really don't care for the first half of the video where it takes em like 3 shots, that doesn't seem that unusual since they are snipers. But one shot killing me is a different story.

ty i thought it was just me going nuts. i ran legend NF tonight and just couldnt work out why i was being one shot when i entered certain areas. i was 1580 and it felt more like a GM NF than a simple legend.

Nah you paid that scorn sniper a bountiful amount of glimmer to make it look like he did a lot of damage.

Because it's really fun being one shot out on patrol when I'm over 1560. dmg04: Their reign of terror will end in a future season. They know it's a issue but it won't be fixed this season atleast.

I made a post about this back in the 1st week and half of the people that replied were trolls, so good luck. In my post I pointed out that if you ran one of the legendary throne world lost sector, the scorn snipers could kill a arc sheilded major hive knight in a couple shots despite match game and arc burn being active.

I think its because they shoot 3 bolts, they bypass the pve red health resistance

Hopefully bungie actually watches the video. I've been having to deal with this for bout 2 weeks and nothing was done. I've seen some post bout it. After those post I started paying attention and now it makes me hate scorn even more.
