The idea of aiming/shooting at the Witness is silly.
The most powerful force in the universe: Gun.
Lore wise, I'm not seeing how winning makes sense. The Traveler is still banged up from the collapse but the Witness still has a fresh robe and clean complexion...and we're still gonna cap that fool.
