You can basically spend the entire match with a sunspot in your back pocket, and body shot everyone. It almost makes me want to play as a Titan, so I can abuse the exotic too.

Im ok with lovely splendor being nerfed if they nerf hunters and warlocks as well. Hunters especially their invisibility needs to be nerfed also their speed and melee damage needs a huge nerf they are about 10 times more powerfull than Titans. I have a hunter too so I do know this.
-
Now invisibility and melee need nerfs for hunters, and warlock melee and well of radiance need nerfs.
-
As a titan main, Loreley splendor is a -blam!- level of an excuse for an exotic. You crutch a playstyle that makes you a -blam!- camper. Bungie devs were smoking some -blam!- when they made it because like half the -blam!- they release no one tests it. What's even better is they nerfed solar titan dmg buffs in 3.0 instead of doing a proper job and just reworking this pos. "Quality game design!"
-
I care more about them nerfing sunspots. The exotic made them 10x worse than they were normally by adding a consistent way to activate them. Crippling ALL of sunbreaker for an exotic is just outright stupid. They were definitely too strong damage wise even before the patch, but 15 a tick is hot trash. Loreley should've just given you a weaker sunspot.

1 ReplyWhen ever Titans get anything semi-useful for PvP it gets nerfed to all hell. The new exotic gave Hunters and Warlocks PTSD of One Eyed Mask, an exotic they cried about so much Bungie nerfed it like 3 times and it still wasn't enough ...
-
1 ReplyHunter invis anyone!
-
1 ReplyNo one knew their potential, I admit, even I didn’t think much of it. I had forgotten all the other benefits of running sun spots since no one ever uses them until now. Its actually quite busted now and will most likely end up getting nerfed in the near future. For now I think bungie is just letting titans have their fun the same way hunters had theirs with shatter dive. Don’t get too used to it though, titans and warlocks get nerfed way faster than hunters.
-
1 ReplyI mean just given Bungie's track record with Titan Exotics, they've always gotten exotics that are absolutely busted as hell in pvp and are still hot even after being nerfed many times. -OEM -Anteus Ward -Dunemarchers Nothing new here.

Edited by Dano2point0: 4/2/2022 7:16:12 PMIt was a knee jerk reaction to an Exotic that was getting the OP label at release from a lot of content creators. Everyone assumed it had to be worse off. These are the bandwagon fans that jumped on the Exotic right away and then jumped off. But they don't know the subclass. Only Siegebreaker mains or perceptive players are going to know that a Sunspot on command is better than going to critical health. The only problem now is that this one Exotic probably got Sunspot damage nerfed, and it's going to get Sun Warrior damage nerfed next because of the Special cheese in Crucible. So Siegebreaker mains are gonna be pissed.

Because the only way Titans can be competitive is if they have something that is broken. OEM, Pre-Striker, Antaeus Wards, and now OS spam and Lorely Helm. Without these things, Titans are just underwhelming and this is coming from a Titan main. Just wish Titans got better movement(not Twilight Garrison)
-
It's still pretty good, and there are plenty of titans who know this, but it's slightly annoying because you lose a barricade when you die 💀
-
13 RepliesJust run hunter. There's 30 plus things that are exploits or cheese over there.
-
Thars why I always wait for these types of changes before giving my reaction. The helmet is fantastic even still.
-
Yes I also watch cammy
-
Because they took away our free sunspots
-
Because it lost potency .
-
They complain moreso about the Sunspot nerf because now their Sunspots don't kill as fast as a freaking Witherhoard.
-
3 RepliesWhy did Hunters complain about the RDM nerf?
-
Because the exotic was fine before until players complained bungie changed it made it broken.
-
Because the word "nerf" is like putting acid to a cut for half of this community who only plays pve and an additional 49% who do play pvp but they wanna crutch things.
-
2 RepliesWow i never got to use the exotic prenerf, as soon as i get its nerfed already…
-
-
It's not the fact that the helm got changed, it's more the fact that they pre-nerfed sunspots to make sure the helm wasn't broken then changed it which is a bit overkill. I can understand the change to the helm because before the change it was incredibly strong. The sunspot nerf should have been reverted back to what it was as soon as the helm got changed in my opinion.
-
Yeah its still really good
-
it was a buff actually and now is OEM 2.0 but you start the fight with the damage buf and hp regen
-
Because peoples like to complain whenever their crutch get fixed
