HELP PLEASE! Logged in and all of my accounts are missing and everything is gone.

I logged in this morning and all of my items and characters are gone. 3 years of hard work completely evaporated. Please help I'm freaking out. I play only on Steam so I'm not sure how this is even possible.

It also appears that any characters that several characters have been deleted on that profile.   • Characters can only be deleted manually, by human hands. If you did not delete these characters then it means one of your linked accounts has been compromised. Whether due to accidental deletion or unauthorized account access, Bungie does not recover manually deleted characters or items, and does not replace in-game items that are lost or dismantled. Bungie does not provide the following services: * Restoration of deleted characters * Recovery of dismantled, scrapped, deleted, or otherwise discarded items * Recovery of mistakenly Infused items * Recovery of items lost due a Character's Postmaster being full * Recovery of items lost due to Player Inventories being full * Restoration of access to items or content gained through game sharing * Refunding in-game currencies on accidental purchases * Refunding Silver or transferring Silver between platform accounts, Destiny releases, or inactive accounts in any capacity * Transferring items or characters between platform accounts or inactive accounts in any capacity [url]https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12211[/url]

  • Same thing just happened to me and they even changed my name. I've been reaching out everywhere to try and get help. Hopefully someone can, I played Destiny 2 since it came out and have thousands of hours put into it. It's kind of absurd that Bungie considers "unauthorized access" not their issue. If someone got into your account by hacking into Bungie.net, Bungie should see it as their issue.
