Can you like make trials skill based? I want a gun for PvE but -blam!-. Some of us actually work full time have family and what not, we can't play 10 hours a day like 80% of people who play trials. Let people who spent $100+ on your game enjoy it too.

Absolutely not. Sbmm by definition would be 50/50 win rates so no one would ever go flawless. There are zero trials weapons that are essential in anyway in any content The reeds regret is matched (more or less) by the crafted solar linear from the raid which you can craft with enhanced 4th times the charm and focused fury. The new scout is easily matched by the trustee from deep stone and is not essential in any content anyway If there was some sort of game changing loot locked behind trials I might be in favor of more giveaways to casuals but there aren’t even any craftable weapons in their loot pool it’s all random rolls 99.5 percent of which are bad

Love when people use the "I have a life and a job" argument. I know a good number of people who work 5 days a week and have families, and are still able to find the time to play Destiny regularly. Long story short, you don't have to play the game religiously to be good at it.

I work full time too and do fine in trials, PvP isn’t for everyone and there are easier substitutes in PvE activities

19 RepliesTrials is literally the only end game pvp tryhards have. Let them have it. 90% of this game is catered to lower skilled players.

Edited by GMDeece7: 3/29/2022 4:31:43 AMBut is the gun really worth the trouble? Ask yourself that… Is all the time and effort you spend on trials actually rewarded you enough? Truth is, you have to win in trials to even have a good chance to get anything from it. If you can’t, there is literally no point in exposing yourself to one of the most infamous and toxic pvp playlists known to gaming. There are other options to trials weapons. You don’t need trials weapons if I’m being perfectly honest. I for one, refuse to even attempt that playlist. Never even tried a single game, any season, because it’ll end up a literal detriment to my mental health. Just let the playlist go… You’ll feel better about yourself and you’ll be happier in game. I’m going to make this next part very clear… Trials is low on population. The sweats have ALREADY run out solos, casuals, pve mains, and low to mid skilled players for the most part. There is nowhere near close enough players of these types playing trials at ANY part of the day. The playlist is legitimately going to end up at pre revamp levels of participation not too long from now. Your best bet is to just not play it. It’s only going to get far worse for you. Think of your mental health.

Not everything in D2 is meant for everyone. Can’t complete it, you don’t get the loot

4 RepliesPlot twist the great majority of players have lives/friends/family and still don't suck at the game. You already have flawless pool it doesn't need to get easier.

2 RepliesFun facts: 1. The goal of Skill Based Matchmaking is to match you with similar skill 2. If this goal is archived everyone will find themselves on a 50% winrate 3. It is statistically nearly impossible to go flawless with a 50% winrate

7 RepliesI want a new adept palindrome for pvp, but I don't want to play a ton of GMs. Can I just get adept palindrome from adept level nightfalls? This is what you sound like.
-
4 RepliesNo. Same rewards for everyone so anyone should play anyone. Not fair to good players having to play 7 sweaty games compared to lower skilled players having a way easier time. Flawless pool can also leave.

2 RepliesTrials has never been and never will have skill based matchmaking. It is against the spirt of the game mode. Trials was created as a hard core pvp mode to challenge the best pvp players in the game. While Bungie has made it easier for players to play Trials and get rewards they will only hold your hand so far. If you want to go to the Lighthouse you have to prove you are worthy by defeating all opposition no matter what skill level they are or what skill level your team is.

Don’t even think regular Crucible has SBMM
