How do you revive someone with the skull sign over their head?

I've tried doing the Savathun boss over and over and over and OVER. The reason I fail? Not because I die, but because after once or twice of other members of my fireteam dying, I can't revive them. Then the other member walks up and revives them. My issue is when both of my fireteam members die, I can't do a thing. I've looked at the little yellow diamond in the bottom right corner of the screen repeatedly, and when it's dark, they still revive each other. HOW?

You only have 1 revive token in the Legendary campaign missions. If you're having issues, I suggest trying it solo, it's actually MUCH easier. The enemies have more health if you have more people in your fireteam.

  • You each have a revive token (the diamond). Reviving someone spends that token and you can't revive anyone until either the encounter is over or you wipe.

    • Hi there! The Legendary version of campaign missions introduced the revive token mechanic, which is also found in raids. If you do not have a token, you are not able to revive anyone. Each fireteam member can still have a token to revive another Guardian.
