50 RepliesAccording to DestinyTracker.com... "Crucible Players (yesterday): 719.8K" There's way too much skill-related hatred for PvP on this forum.
-
It’s not dead. It’s just not some cod clone, so pvp players will always cry.
-
19 RepliesPvP should just be entirely removed from this franchise.
-
You have an opinion, it’s a game. If people taking it that serious just simply give them the 🖕🏼
-
it wouldn't be that bad if Bungie would fix Connection issues and Stop matching me with People from the other side of the Globe just to fill the Lobby... its so Fun getting a Clean Snipe on someone just to see the Damage numbers but no kill and Sudenly you die Around the Corner from a snipe Fun Times
-
27 RepliesGoing by your crucible match postgame from tracker...you either break barely even, or die more than you kill. Crucible isn't dead, my good sir. You just spend most of every game dead.
-
Your post is so inaccurate. A large proportion of the player base play PvP.
-
9 RepliesAfter the first month of the season, the only reasons to log in are PvP, raids and GMs. Not to mention that half of the weapon rolls and exotic weapons you go for are for pvp. For example I would not be playing GMs if I wasn’t after an adept Silicon Neuroma or an upgraded adept Pali. But I will be because I want it for pvp. Same with GoA last season or Master VoG the season before. I played these activities for pvp gear. What many players fail to realize is that many pvp players also play PvE for pvp gear. It’s not really the same the other way around. Take away this grind for weapon rolls and you take away 40% of your PvE player base too.

And there it is....the best view of what this toxic -blam!- game does to people...."1.04 so i do t get an opinion" shows right there you people are fing garbage humans that dont even allow folks to offer feedback to the company not your sorry asses

23 RepliesPeople tired of Hunter crutches, that's why.

I dont mind PvP because I am pretty good at it and am not affected by the issues of feeling like cannon fodder for the top 1% like most people do. I actually enjoy it a decent amount and find myself just playing for fun a lot. However I would have to be very ignorant to completely ignore the damage it has done to the game. It has obviously caused a huge divide among the playerbase and generated a ton of animosity, and I cannot be convinced that PvP sandbox tuning has no bearing on the PvE sandbox (which objectively matters more because this is a PvE game first after all). Just think about how good stasis could have been, how much better void 3.0 could have been, how the d2 subclasses were designed with competitive PvP in mind, how much stronger weapons and their perks could be, and so on if PvP balance was a nonfactor. I really feel like the game would be a lot more fun if it was PvE only because there would be a lot more freedom in the creation of the stuff that makes us feel powerful. But I concede that it is too late now. PvP has generated a devout following over the years to the point that it makes up like 1/3 of the game's entire playerbase, who would all quit at the drop of a hat if PvP was suddenly removed. At this point we can only imagine what the game could have been if things were different

1 ReplyNah but Gambit most definitely needs to die ain’t nobody playing that -blam!-.
-
Pvp is catered to bad players. They legit have mechanics to force bad players to get kills...
-
Ain't nothinh wring with not being super competitive. Issue is that the competitive player base is toxic and incapablem

Edited by Bearded Midget: 3/25/2022 4:52:30 AMIn a numbers point of view, it's not. But in a developer's point of view, yes it's dead. Their 20 year old P2P system is the one that killed it! They're just keeping it alive with life-support but it's dead in the water. They even threw in an overpowered stasis in the mix but everyone knows it was just for money. It created a mess in PvP. LMAO!!! Now it's hollowman! Get it? Even crossplay is kinda a mess. LMAO!!! Shotgun has always been an issue since D1. Now it's shotgun and handcannon. LMAO!!! Lag? What lag? Yeah, it's your internet, not their Jurassic P2P. LMAO!!! And nobody is cheating here! LMAO!!! Everyone loves the matchmaking system! Wait, what matchmaking? LMAO!!! State of the game!

I’m stuck in a brick shop all day

7 RepliesDonkey Kong 64 has better pvp
-
Noby, literally no one care about your kd. Your precious kd is not needed to have a opinion.
-
2 RepliesInvisibility and overshields the hunters and titans spam has truly buried pvp.
-
Hunter Invis Shot gun hand cannon and think you gud,,,,,, DUMB Crucible has been trash for years. weapon balance and balance in general remains trash
-
Not a good take. Referring to being dead, let’s take a step back and analyze. Dead compared to what? Your skill? That’s 100x more dead. People like you are dead In game 90% of the time constantly dying blaming anything but where the problem lies with you.
-
Still not as dead as Gambit
-
I don’t think pvp is dead, though to be fair I am biased considering it’s probably 85% of my total play time, my matches seem to be more varied and interesting then they’ve been for awhile, minus the lobby balancing issues of course. Though your KD doesn’t invalidate your opinion
