i cant authenticate my steam account to remove it
I wanted to remove my steam account so i could link my new one to my bungie cross save. But i re-used the same email address after steam deleted my old one and now it wont let me remove the old steam account due to and *athentication error* neither bungie or steam support can help me and im now having to start fresh on my new steam account which means i have to purchase over £200 worth of content again.
Does anyone have any idea how i could resolve this issue?

you need to be able to authenticate through steam. you will have to work with them to restore the account. if they are unwilling/unable to do this then there is nothing else to do. bungie cannot disable cross save for you.
