Anyone who says that is wasn’t warranted in PvP, and I I don’t how else to say this; crutches on it way too hard. A week after it first got released to the public, I played 4 games of control. All of these games were with invis hunter. Once I got used to the setup of it (after the first 2 games) I literally dropped two WROOM (we rans) in a row in different lobbies. I even checked the K/D’s after and most of the people in my game were pretty solid too. Bottom line is this, any half decent player could pick up invis and do great. Any good player with invis would do amazing. Any already experienced good player in PvP was almost unbeatable with invis.
I’m happy to see it go in PvP, it was way too overtuned.

I personally don't mind it. Didn't even notice a nerf. Kinda just feels the same really

It's actually a buff. Now guys have to focus on radar or the Purple thingy.🤷♂️

5 RepliesEdited by Infamous067: 3/23/2022 2:26:20 AMIt was obviously broken, hunters need their crutch though. I bet they already found something else to crutch on, I’m starting to see some hunters that are more tanky than a titan stacking over shields with that new stasis exotic. That thing when used with the right aspect and fragments allows hunters to survive a sniper headshot! Not many people have caught on but I’m mentioning it here so hunters can go abuse it and possibly get it nerfed before trials this weekend. Hate me all you guys want but Im gonna mention anything that breaks pvp in hopes of getting it nerfed, that includes my own class by the way. Nothing is safe from the nerf hammer

Invise being nerfed is fine, it's how bungie nerfed invise, the nerf never should have been a radar ping every .6 seconds that defeats the class Bungie should have made invise easier for other players to see on harder to see invise maps.
-
Lol, hunters are complaining because they will show up on the radar for half a second… Toughen up buttercups.

8 RepliesI still don't think it's anywhere near as bad as it was made out to be. Audio Cue was loud enough to know when it was happening and map design made it so there wasn't much guess work in figuring out where they were going to show up. Also think the purple haze was way easier to pick out than the blue shimmer I think this will just lead to an uptick in Jester usage. Why be off radar when I can turn off radar instead?

24 RepliesNot the case. I’m a working father. I rarely get time during the week to play so play when I can. I had to pick a subclass to invest in and have always focused on my invis builds since D1 invis was on arcstrider. Over time it’s warped my style of play to be just that. I can adapt to another style as I do when I play my warlock and titan characters but I have less fun. The game is supposed to be fun and now I have little armour and materials to build out and learn a new hunter style. The prospect for me just puts me off playing the game cause I invested fully into this subclass with what time I have and now it’s useless. Utterly useless in pvp.

9 RepliesEdited by Sohsuh: 3/23/2022 4:55:53 PMThey should have made it easier to see the player instead. Getting off the radar is the whole point. The radar makes it piss easy for players, so getting off of it is a good thing. People crutch the radar. Like in COD, my classes always have stuff that takes me off the radar. Silencers, ghost, etc. So putting invis on the radar now just makes it completely useless. They absolutely butchered it.

Shoulda Made you less invisible and kept the radar how it was

Nice to know there's some honest and unbiased hunters in here. We need more like you speaking in every class. Not wanting their own class to be op, not wanting their own class to be weak, just as balanced and fair as possible while maintaining class identity and play style. Shame people tend to think that's not a possible stance to take.

I only ran invis for like 3 games, thought the radar manipulation was fun, and swapped to renewal grasps. Now that its lost radar manipulation, I'm just never going to consider nightstalker for PvP again and that's okay with me.

Whoa. A rational hunter. That’s rare.

7 RepliesHunter in general are easy to use to get we ran out of medals. I’m playing titan since void 3.0 came out but might have to go back to hunter since they got nerfed apparently.
-
16 RepliesDon’t use it at all and I think it was fine as is.

As a retired hunter main I agree.

1 ReplyThe changes render invis obsolete especially in 3v3. Reverting back to pre void 3.0 would have been better.
