in Lucent Tales lore book Fynch II it mentions that fynch can still hear his guardians soul in the back of his mind begging BEGING to be resurrected
fynch may be on our side but he is not a good guy

Fynch does not seem like the kind of guy that would be the most reliable, considering how he straight up betrayed the person that he gave the light too to fight for another side. So I think that he is good but his beliefs are pretty ehhh.

2 RepliesEdited by Centaur-1: 3/21/2022 8:29:51 PMThat could all be in his head. It is his sworn duty after all. There’s no lore that directly goes against the possibility of a dead guardian communicating with their ghost but this would be the first I’ve seen supporting it. That said, he has shown no regrets about betraying his chosen. Not saying he’s in the wrong here, but the way he so casually switched sides and can still be so sure of himself is… unnerving.

1 ReplyIf he were a nice guy, he wouldn’t have agreed to turn Hive into Risen…. ….and then betrayed the being he brought back from the dead. Your seeing why Drifter doesn’t trust his ghost, and why Ikora doesn’t get along with hers.

2 RepliesFinch’s knight is a Lightbearer not a Guardian. We are called Guardians because we protect hunanity - the last city- the Traveller. We were not always Guardians although we were Lightbearers.

fynch may be on our side but he is not a good guy
Not sure how you came to this conclusion. He doesn’t want to revive a monster who wants to do evil things. And that makes him a bad guy?

8 RepliesEdited by D-Von, Kell of Tables: 3/22/2022 2:38:28 AM
Neither are we. We are equally as bad. Our first instinct when faced with another race of lightbearers was to snuff out their light. Doesn't seem very heroic to me.
1 ReplySo does this mean all Lightbearers are still conscious after being killed?
-
4 RepliesThat reminds me, how the heck did Fynch manage to kill his Knight?

He dead

That's not a guardian. It's a hive knight.
-
I'd like to see a hive lighbearer on out side.
-
He’s not a good guy because he made a mistake siding with the hive and is choosing to not resurrect the hive knight that he had to kill himself with his own horn because the said knight would kill him or turn him in? Bruh
in Lucent Tales lore book Fynch II it mentions that fynch can still hear his guardians soul in the back of his mind begging BEGING to be resurrected fynch may be on our side but he is not a good guy
And if he resurrects his guardian we lose a vital ally since “Ken” will just turn Fynch in for being a traitor or flat out kill him. He’s obviously a good guy now just because hes not resurrecting a Hive Guardian who would kill other guardians who are trying to save all life because its begging him doesn’t mean hes a bad guy lol

That's fine. We are the baddies in Witch Queen.
in Lucent Tales lore book Fynch II it mentions that fynch can still hear his guardians soul in the back of his mind begging BEGING to be resurrected fynch may be on our side but he is not a good guy
Fynch is a vendor. Which means that we will have good relations with him for as long as the Throne World is a playable location.
-
It's not like he is actually communicating, it's just that Fynch is overwhelmed with the Hive Gaurdians need to be risen.

1 ReplyIn the ghost stories lore book , there is one about the ghost of a warlord that sees all the death and destruction they cause and makes the choice that they no longer deserved to live It made a moral decision, just like Fynch did, so it shows that Ghosts have standards and morals of there own and are not blind servants of the Traveler Now, I wish little light would actually grow a spine and stop blindly going along with everything we do , he acts like a child who thinks their dad is always right

3 RepliesI just want to super glue his horn back on…

Kinda makes him sound even more like a good guy. I do wish that we had a rebel light bearing hive character verses just Fynch.
