The Spider fled and The Shore fell back under the control of the Awoken

It's under Mara's Control, she drove out Spider as there's a Bounty on his Head. And the Fanatic and Scorn fled. We are no longer needed to maintain Order.

They literally say in game, Fikrul left, and spider left, they were the only people who made that place relevant.

Awoken took back control, so we’re not needed. Spider fled to ensure his own safety, dismantling his operation there, while the Fanatic and the Scorn left under him were driven out.

Nah it’s simple mara more or less took it back from spider as for spider himself drifter smuggled him out of the shore

I think the lore is that with the Mara kicked out the spider and took control, meaning that we have little to no reason to o ever go back.

I imagine that, since mara returned, the reef became awoken territory again. Now, they can deal with the problems there. And since the spider left the place, considering the lire we got... well, it stopped veing a problem for us to care about. I would love an explanation, but its not just "it was the darkness."

The Witness woke up one morning and was craving some Coco Pebbles cereal so he took the Tangled shore and mixed it with the Vex Milk for a delicious chocolatey breakfast
