PINNACLE RNG IS BULLSHIT. SAME ITEMS FOUR TIMES IN A ROW
I’ve been grinding for days getting the pinnacles for this week and iron banner, and all I’ve gotten is four of the same pinnacle glove drops that are absolute garbage, barely hitting 60 + for rolls with random -blam!-. Fix your RNG it’s a waste of time to play this game if that’s all you get when you invest.

I'm taking a different approach this time, I used to play every Pinnacle source on all three characters in order to hit the cap as soon as possible. This time I'm only playing things where I'm looking for other things, such as weapons, crafting materials, upgrade materials, or deep sight resonance weapons. So I'm only playing the raid, Psi Ops, Well Spring, and the weekly story missions. That way if I get dupes, I'm hopefully getting other stuff instead of just disappointment. I'll hit Pinnacle cap eventually.

How's this for crazy? I completed 17 pinnacles on my hunter this week without getting either of the two items I needed in order to hit pinnacle cap. Then I logged on Thursday to do my last two available pinnacles and got both the pieces I needed 😂 gotta love RNG.

Their RNG has always been dog -blam!-. The last three items from the raid we all gauntlets lol and two of them were under my current light level lol

It always takes me at least a weekly reset or two to hit pinnacle cap (stuck 1 power under) just because of all the duplicate drops. I’m used to it by now. Like MJ said if you expect disappointment, then you can never really get disappointed 🤷♂️

It’s absolute dogshit. Pinnacle drops should work in rotation so u never get doubles ever.

8 RepliesReally wish Bungie would address the pinnacle grind. It really ,really needs a rework. The pinnacle grind is going to be the thing that makes me finally leave destiny 2. I hate having to do thing s in d2 I dont like in order to get pinnacles and that hate is amplified when you get a duplicate. Last week I ran all pinnacles on 2 characters and got one pair of pinnacle boots. It sucks Bungie. Sort it.

2 RepliesCompleted the IB quest, claimed the 4 bounties (same piece of gear 4x), and traded over 1000 tokens. Didn’t get anything new out of over 50 loots (except one bad HC). Just trash rolls gear and old IB weapons with terrible perks (when I say old I mean it since I didn’t play during 30th anniversary and hadn’t touched IB for a long time before that). Btw only played the same ol same ol maps. Not doing that on the other characters. This Witch Queen DLC had a great campaign and beautiful destination, but that’s about it.
