Yes and no. It’d be cool if there was a season where we got like 4 new maps. We had to help Redjacks clear them as the replayable activity. It’d be an interesting way for Shaxx to give us maps on Europa, Savathun’s Throne World, and more elsewhere.

2 RepliesI am a social PvPer , but I would also love for there to be a crucible DLC or Season Imagine like in the middle of a crucible match, the Taken Invade, and it would switch from PvP to PvE and 12 players and shaxx would fight hordes of taken I wonder what Shaxx mains, I am betting bottomtree striker

PvP was originally a sandbox mode designed for testing out guns you had earned on other players, It has since bloated so far from the original vision that it is unrecognisable. This is the fault of one gun, The Thorn (in PvP’s side) it caused the team to focus heavily on PvP as it had established a meta that was unbalanced beyond belief. This led to over balancing and tuning and it has spiralled into the PvP we have today. So if you are a PvP player you have thorn to thank for you game mode being such a major part of the game. I’m a player who plays both pve and PvP and while I think PvP needs a full retune I feel doing a PvP dedicated season would do a disservice to the main game. I think in the next seasons there should be a 3 phase plan put into place that changes a major set of issues in each phase until light fall where PvP should be fixed. Also to those of you who say that pve is easy etc. Let’s be real for a moment, we both know you camp in the corner with your invisible hunter and the main ingredient you bought from xur but still consider yourself a “PvP god” or “a real man” :)

I'm just sick of seeing Shaxx stuck in that small spot in The Tower when he deserves a whole Coliseum Literal legend in Destiny Lore, Barely involved in the Campaign which is a shame given how powerful he is

1 ReplyEdited by Boss: 3/18/2022 6:14:59 PMI completely agree. Just take a break from the story and do some quality of life stuff and PvP stuff. Add catalysts, maps, game modes(SUPREMACY), and maybe even bring back pinnacles like Lunas and Recluse. I’m tired of always either playing control or clash. Bring back supremacy, rift, even that one game mode with the salvage. PvP has gone too long without anything. The “new” maps that came with the Witch Queen are just returning maps. 4 RepliesNEED is an overused, and incorrect word to use in this case; if not for anything, the fact that like 70% of the D2 community does not like PvP, which dissolves your argument for "We need a Crucible DLC" What you mean to say was "30% of us would LIKE a Crucible DLC", which I can't see them doing considering, again, 70% of the population could careless about PvP, which would mean a Crucible DLC would completely alienate the foundation of their players. So, what's best for business is to not do what you say we "need"
-
No, No we do not!!!! Worst idea ever, Crucible is the worst game mode and it sucks in general. Balancing is way off all the time; could you imagine playing a crucible raid, where the other team was all the best sweats in the game, you could never win. It would drive all the player base away in moments!
-
I think the way they could make this work is a “Season of the Warlord”. A heavily PvP focused Season, but for PvE content, it could revolve around going around and clearing out heavily guarded areas with the Redjacks so Shaxx can use the areas as Crucible maps. For a dungeon or Raid, you could delve into the former stronghold of a Warlord, overran by Fallen or something, for something important to Shaxx.

We had an sufferable season dedicated to gambit called season of the drifter and wasn’t received greatly so they don’t want an repeat of it and will divide the player-base even further so thanks but no thanks .
-
Only if they give PvP some much needed TLC.
-
1 ReplyOh hell nah!
-
They tried with gambit and it was a disaster, pvp one would most likely kill Destiny
-
4 Repliesi'd rather see it deleted, same with gambit, so pve won't be boring and repetitive.
-
-
Agreed tired of having to do pveasy -blam!-. They can make mayhem and option for the crucibabies.

23 RepliesCrucible needs to die.

4 RepliesEdited by BeerMeYouWill: 3/18/2022 7:06:39 PMNo , you need to go play fortnight kid. GR8 B8

Not a PvP main, but PvP does need some love again. Hopefully next season it’ll get its yearly update/refresh…..
-
Dude this game would die out if they devoted a season or dlc to just pvp.
-
Definitely not...... Just let it die...

1 ReplyEdited by Hysorn: 3/18/2022 4:16:14 AMWon't fix it's core issues though, it will only expand the content in it. Shotguns will still be low effort high reward, Glaives and Fusion Rifles will still be annoying as hell to fight against and the list goes on. The problem is that Bungie balances everything around PvE and lets PvP run wild, instead of separating the two, which leads to players finding the most busted and easy to use weapons alongside the most busted and easy to use subclass and abuse said meta more than they abuse their Vtubers bodypillows. And I haven't even mentioned the mad case of P2P connection. We need a full Crucible rework, not just a PvP season or expansion, but considering how long it takes for Bungie to fix any gamebreaking and other bugs that harms the players' experience, I take it they are severely understaffed. So that rework? Ain't happening anytime soon, if ever.

5 RepliesPvp has so much potential. But the connection is wack right now. And why am I constantly facing teams in mythic or legend when I literally just started comp… is this the skill based? Cos it rough!
-
Topic body.
No we don’t Watch the entire fan base leave like they did in that gambit dlc

3 RepliesSeason of the Worthy (PVP DLC) was by far the worst ever in Destiny's history!! I'll pass as would 70% of the player base. LMFAO
