Who woulda thought to see Main Ingredient topping the trials usage again … what a nerf you guys really reigned it in , bravo

Edited by I Speedwagon I: 3/28/2022 5:24:41 AMGod -blam!- fusions seriously. I hate specials in general it's so annoying getting killed 14 meters away by a chap or almost 20 from a -blam!- fusion Edit: if it isn't obvious this is me just venting. Shits frustrating as -blam!- sometimes
-
25 RepliesNot a problem at all. Fusions do require skill; shotguns require you to pull a trigger.
-
Mad shotgun user is mad 😂
-
1 ReplyBlame xur.
-
1 ReplyHere’s my thought. Bungie is purposely making fusions strong because they wanna get off the shotgun meta
-
1 ReplyBungie playbook item 12,567 Work smart not hard! Why fix code? when xur can just sell the weapon! Mission accomplished
-
1 ReplyBungie literally handed god rolled main ingredients to everyone with xur. It was definitely intentional
-
1 ReplyReject shotguns and fusions fans, become a glaive mid-strike enjoyer 😎👊
-
1 ReplyAlmost like guns with high aa weapons take no skill to use.
-
yeah it did absolutely nothing. although that may be because xur sold a new, possibly better roll and everyone is trying it out in trials. fusions and spread shotungs do need a nerf though. they are way to rewarding on the current maps. that or we need longer range maps(though thats not going to help much and we all know it.)
-
just put a powercap on the thing, problem solved
-
7 RepliesJust wait till people start crafting the raid fusion with enhanced tap the trigger
-
Fusions in general are insanely OP right now... the ability to pre charge and slide while charging basically negates TTK... and the thing should be range then because thats huge in Destiny PVP... at what range can you fight fusions? shotguns are heavily nerfed and sidearms and even Last word youre in THEIR perfect range to fight them... nd so stay at range right? but the range of fusions is just literally OP right now and with the ability to slide into their engagements with firmly planted, youre going to be mapped... This is the worst sandbox in awhile

16 RepliesAnd there's still more Shotgun kills by a huge margin.
-
Only shotgun apes are mad.
-
1 ReplyYet both shotguns and hand cannons still have more kills collectively then a single little fusion. Fusions are one of the only real counter to shotguns. Nerf them, shotguns are going to get hit next not too long after they take over again. Might want to think carefully of what you type before your shotguns get hit again…

1 ReplyEdited by ProbablyJosh: 3/13/2022 5:28:28 AMI'm not gonna lie, I started out playing fair in trials this weekend but after noticing at least 2x main ingredient on the enemy team most games I went to xur and bought it. Immediate flawless once it was on lol fusions are a bit wild rn and need a slight tone down, they still need enough range to counter shottys but damn they don't need as much range as they have right now
-
You sound like the kind of person who apes with a shotty and thinks they're incredibly good 😂😂😂

6 RepliesLet's see here.......it's not even the #1 most used weapon this week (that's Chaperone) and Shotguns have about twice as many total kills as Fusion Rifles do. But sure, let's maintain the "nerf Fusion Rifles" agenda and allow Shotguns to run wild.
-
1 ReplyLol it’s firmly planted causing the issues, not tap the trigger. If you are going to whine about nerfing something, at least have the correct perk listed And Chappy is still on top, so it’s totally fusions, right?
-
And all the shotguns in the list are still a higher percentage. The next fusion on the list is Jotunn at #35 with 0.861% usage. The next traditional fusion is #43 Likely Suspect with 0.666% usage. Main Ingredient has it all: - Xur sold 2 “God Rolls” recently. - Access to Scopes to boost zoom to higher levels than most fusions. - High Base stats compared to most fusions. Bungie nerfed a perk. The problem is that there’s one very accessible weapon that has had everything a fusion rifle could want. People are mad because they keep seeing the same weapon defeat over and over. Add up all the other shotguns or snipers and they account for about the same or (in shotguns case) a whole lot more. If Bungie really wants this to change, they needed to either change the perks on Main Ingredient or it’s stats. It’s like Felwinters back in the day. A strong easily accessible shotgun that pushed out all other fusions.

Bungie’s sandbox team is so bad. I would like to see someone else take a shot at it. What is Bungie’s goal with PvP? Are they aiming for an unbalanced unhealthy mode with broken weapons and a stale meta of two years? If so they have nailed it. Lol
-
4 RepliesEdited by Interpol89: 3/13/2022 5:07:31 AMTap the trigger is part of the problem, but xur also ships them out with high stability and other OP perks (under pressure or firmly planted). All of those things make them really easy to use. Edit: The rest of the fusions seem to be in a decent spot, so I don’t think Bungie should nerf all of them.

Edited by hate n payne: 3/13/2022 2:03:11 PMIt is primarily due to how the game mode works and honestly you shouldn’t be surprised. Elimination is the name and the fastest TTK or the best ease of use is the game. Skill really isn’t a factor when you have outliers and an unbalance system overall that caters to a specific behavior of play. Main Ingredient might have the most of amount of kills but you gotta look at the overall picture which is 1 godly fusion against 5+ godly to decent shotguns. If they simply adjust the range of fusions around their charge fire rate plus max range of shotguns, fusions such as Main Ingredient wouldn’t be as cancerous. It should feel like a 1 for 1 approach consisting between shotguns and fusions being a counter to each other.
-
3 RepliesXur sold a better one ? Firmly planted is best fusion perk
