Iron banner is yet again pointless. There's three "new" weapons another handcannon, another shotgun and a sword. Why is it never a scout or a trace rifles or a linear fusion rifle? If I want the new iron banner shader I can just turn in tokens and dismantle something with it on. If I want the new weapons which I already have I can turn in tokens. There is zero reason to play it because most people just let tokens build up when they do decide to play it and most play it with the mindset of "If I keep tokens for next season there might be something new." At this point if you want it to be worth playing do a different mode, make it something like rift. Add one of every weapon and bring back the old D1 weapons. Add new armour and add legacy D1 sets along with shaders and emblems, ships and sparrows and ghosts. That small change just revamped iron banner and made it more played because everyone will be grinding for the armour especially ttk armour. By adding new cosmetics like shaders, emblems, ships, sparrows, ghosts and maybe even an emote you have given people a reason to play and not just hoard tokens . Make the rewards after match rewards with higher ranks giving higher drop rates. Do the same in crucible add old shaders, sparrows, ghosts, emblems, ships, special crucible themed emotes, ghost projections, transmat effects as after match rewards. Higher ranks higher drop chances. Slap in new modes that are permanent like rift, combined arms, salvage. Add new armour even D1 armour and there crucible feels like it has had some love and people won't moan as much because there's a reason to play it again. Add all the old maps back from D2 vanilla. Bring back some more D1 maps and add a new crucible map every couple of seasons. If you can revamp the helm every season you can make a crucible map every three seasons. Crucible has not been touched since arrivals when you removed half the maps.
