Hi, I have an issue with switching to the PS5 Version on D2. Everytime I try to start it says: "Can't use this content. Your license has expired
To use this content, purchase it."
The PS4 Version on the PS5 works fine.
For the record:
When I got my PS5 I was not aware, that I could switch to the PS5 version of D2. So I played some time with the PS4 version (on the PS5) with no problems.
After the release of Which Queen a friend told me, that I could download the PS5 Version. So I did and got the above message.
Already tried to repair the licenses to no avail.
Any suggestions?

I had this on day one. Iirc I clicked elsewhere, I may have launched it from the library page as opposed to the home page. I can't quite remember if that was the actual set of steps, so you might have to mess about in your own library/other ways. For some unknown reason, after launching it like that this error never happened again to me. Still weird though.

You might try uninstalling all copies (PS4 and PS5) versions of D2 from your PS5. Reboot your console. Then open the Playstation Store and search for Destiny 2 to find the free base game. It should give you the option to purchase or download for $0. Please do so. Do not install from your games library, please do it from the Playstation Store. Once installed from the Playstation Store see if the game will open correctly.

Been a while since i was on PS, have you checked the store to see if the PS5 version has a purchase button available? it'll be listed as free
