I get there is a war going on but how does this help? -blam!- doesn’t care about bungie. All this does is screw over Russian Destiny fans.
Come on bungie. The emblem and charity is enough.
Edit: they really censored the name of the Russian president LMAO. What a bunch of 🤡

11 RepliesPeople are dying and you're moaning about a video game. Gtfo

4 RepliesI just wonder how all these companies will react when China finally invades Taiwan in the same fashion.

10 RepliesEdited by Lyberatis: 3/11/2022 2:26:13 AMIt helps by making people upset. If people are upset that their leaders actions lead to a company pulling support from their country, then people are likely to stop supporting said leader. Don't blame Bungie for removing support in Russia. Blame your leadership for doing the thing that's making companies and governments remove support in/to your country in the first place.

2 RepliesEdited by Latrodectus5002: 3/10/2022 5:30:36 AM*Russian President* realises war crimes are bad after not being able to buy emotes from Eververse

It doesn't do anything... It's more nonsense from leftist companies to try and look good. It's a joke...just make video games and stfu
-
I'm not really sure what to say to not get negative feedback but I'm not trying to be a Russia -blam!- but I think they should still get support by Bungie and such. I get why something like a fast food place shutdown so that Russia doesn't get provided meals, but when will a war soldier go home and play destiny 2, like when? But I think it's dumb imo to not provide to Russian players.
I get there is a war going on but how does this help?
The short is: it doens't. However, since all big shots are doing the same, Bungie will do to, specially with some presidents encouraging this action. It's better this way: Bungie says "our thoughts are with Ukrain, we can do bussines with Russia (right now)", the rest of the world says "Yay, Bungie, you are so cool! We will keep buying your tshirts!" On the other hand, if Bungie keeps doing bussines with Russian, the world would say "what? How could you? You are so bad, Bungie, we are not buying your recicled content ever again"

Bungie is all about censorship

14 RepliesThe only clowns I see in this thread are the ones simping for Russia and MAGA trolls

3 RepliesBungie does everything that can allow them to look like white knights. So as most people consider the russian president as a pure murderer without any feeling...bungie does too (Funny thing to say btw when you realize that even with what he is doing with ukraine he isnt even close of what america has done in the past and currently in other countries...also russia didnt colonized other countries..unlike some others...but well..its in europe so its shocking i suppose XD)

Dont get how stopping bussiness in a country via a video game does anything other than virtue signal like most people, arrogant enough to tell other people they dont know whats going on when they themselves dont know either, you know what you are told....., a game wont affect the war since i guesse when theres an actual war some people can actually stop playing a game for a bit, I know thats hard to understand for some people but yeah.....

6 RepliesI think anything that can help Ukraine should be done. All these small sanctions add up. There is more important things in the world than video games.

Now days canceling thing just because some other guy does it is cool so all the kids on the block are doing it 🤷🏾♂️

2 RepliesI’ve seen your posts. And just reading them has given me a clear presentation. You’re either young and know nothing about politics or geo politics. Or you’re a really good troll. Im going with the former. Let me answer some questions. Why are we only sanctioning Russia? Russia decided to pull a big one and attack Ukraine. Thus effectively starting a war between them. In an anti-war or further war effort, the US private sector and government are doing sanctions. The private sector pulling out only works if most businesses/companies pull out in mass then solo, as no effect. Hence why we are doing Ukraine, not China. China also develops a majority of our goods, way more then Russia. You can blame that on a multitude of things: Capitalism influencing oligarchs in congress, no reason to go that hard, China has nukes, we also owe China a lot of money, etc. You can also see the effect taking place as Russia has been taking Ls. Also as a result since Russia is a big energy supplier so rip gas prices (another convo for another day.) But of course this doesn’t affect Pu tin but it does to the Russian mass, because Pu tin is mad. If you are anti-war and pro ukraine. Take the reasonable sane stance. If you say “lolfuckall” well you’re ignorant and really shouldn’t start focusing on politics.

2 RepliesIt's called false posturing, It's the popular thing to do right now.
-
Edited by Blue Spy 3DO: 3/10/2022 12:04:52 PMThey do it because its a safe and popular opinion to do so currently but just like the rest of the world they have no problem with taking bussiness from a very specific country with literal concentration camps and a very large population to milk money from. Or how about all those very specific countries with oil that have like no women's rights that Bungie happily stays silent on? Companies like Bungie hop from hot topic to hot topic in the most general sense to earn goodwill grandstanding brownie points from people too naive to notice, its called marketing.

Breaking news out of Moscow: The Russian President has changed course and ordered a military retreat out of Ukraine. When asked to comment, the President began rambling about all the progress Xi Jinping had made on his Warlock character. “I can’t let Xi complete the raid before I do!” he exclaimed as the Destiny servers returned yet another loading screen error.
Edited by AdligerAdler: 3/10/2022 9:22:28 PM-blam!- Lol they really did. Always taking it too far. Ridonkulous!

The Russian people have bigger problems than a video game. This is to stifle financial stimulation within a collapsing economy to end the war faster. Why would you finance what you want to end?

Edited by Vypur: 3/10/2022 8:13:52 AMThis is a subject thats best left to people who understand the more intricasies of the geopolitical history of the region and not gamers or game companies who cant see past the face value of things, this is just more virtue signaling….theres more behind this than -blam!- invading ukraine bc -blam!- is a “madman”, nato, u.s. and britain all have just as much liability in this situation as russia, for decades after russia has continued to warn nato that they will never accept them setting up shop on their doorstep and have gotten tired of nato and the u.s. bullying other countries into decisions based off the global value of the dollar, nato forced russias hand by continuing to push for ukraines membership into mato….what many people fail to realize is russia and baltic countries are not “westernized” and they never will be most likely now im not saying invading a country is the best way to go about this but nato cant really believe that setting up a nato ally on russias border was ever gonna go well and with all these companies trying to pull out of russia, the damage will be minimal as russia and china had already began diversifying their holdings away from nato countries, i think the real issue here is gonna be what are the repercussions if russia loses? Now that bungie has taken a stance and have opened the floodgates with their announcement and emblem i dont believe it would be fair to ban anyone for writing a political post or reply….bc after all it is them who have set the standard now

1 ReplyThis is a reaction to something. That something is the cause of Russians being screwed over, not Bungie or any other company that is pulling their business. Place the blame where it should be or SHUT YOUR MOUTH BRENDA.
