Raids that just launched up until atleast a month with this as a title. You guardians are part of the problem with alot of people not learning the raids. It hasn't even been a week. Know what to do or get kicked, what blaintant disrespect in our community.

5 RepliesYou’re not entitled to our time. We have no obligation to teach you the raid. If you want to learn the raid, find a Sherpa or go to LFG and make your own team.
-
There are plenty of people who want to teach the raid. The raid has been out less than a week. People are still trying out different strats to find the best way to get through it.
-
Nothing stopping you from making a lfg group. Plus there is plenty of posts even now stating chill runs, teaching or fresh learning raid posts. People make kwtd or kicked aren't toxic, they just want to go through the raid with other people who know what they are doing so each encounter doesn't take 2 hours or something when teaching others. Getting mad and saying they are what are wrong with the community isn't actually true, some people just don't have time to teach a raid. So again can make your own lfg or join lfg posts that state learning or teaching.

1 ReplyKwtd at this point only requires watching a video and learning the symbol call outs. Nobody owes you a potato carry. Let alone in a raid (3rd encounter) that is not conducive to carrying potato’s who will say things like ~I just do add clear~ or ~I don’t run relic~ or ~I don’t do call outs~. If you can’t be bothered to watch a few minutes of video on each encounter for the basics and recommend builds you are likely to waste everyone’s time. Wiping foe 3 extra hours and having to spend 20 mins before each encounter explaining it to you like you are 5 years old is not fun. Especially when you will never run the raid again once you get the exotic

1 ReplyToxic pve players…. Imagine my shock
-
Here’s my thing about these posts, some people just want to get the raid done without having to teach anyone just saying. 🤷♂️
-
Teach GoS or Lw to a fireteam that hasn't stepped foot in either raid, then tell me why you see so many kwtds.

4 RepliesIts toxic if they dont meet their own requirements. Its toxic if they never ever help out another player. Its not toxic to ask for experience/know-how if you dont have the time to spare to teach someone. What is just as toxic is refusing to go in with other players and learn together and instead expecting other players who have done the legwork to have some sort of obligation to teach you. When a Raid has been out for months upon months, ok, I get it. Its hard to learn the proper way.... but VotD is new so theres going to be an abundance of folks wanting to get to grips with it. This is all coming from someone who has gone well out of their way to help others btw. Feel free to RR me and tot up my sherpas.

Hmmm Have you ever thought of, oh idk: 1: ignoring them 2: making your own fireteam? Some people just want to get the raid done and don’t want to carry
-
Just make your own fireteam
-
So, every time I see one of these posts, I immediately go to the Fireteams section to see if it's true. And every time there's at least 5 groups with either no listed "KWTD", "Teaching", or "Learning" in the title, with less than five minutes from when they posted Not everyone is going to want to or have time to teach, and that's fine. There are plenty of groups out there who do, and if you can't find one there are plenty of people looking to join a team with fresh eyes, so feel free to post one yourself

You can easily KWTD via YouTube videos. Also these people are easily avoidable if 1. You ignore them and 2. Make your own Lfg posts
-
17 Repliesthe funny part is most people who post those dont actually know what they are doing
Raids that just launched up until atleast a month with this as a title. You guardians are part of the problem with alot of people not learning the raids. It hasn't even been a week. Know what to do or get kicked, what blaintant disrespect in our community.
The ironic part here is that people in this community have no problem telling Bungie to respect our time and effort. Why don't players do the same for other players? Listen or read in this context. Let's say I do an lfg and I allow you and another player fresh out the box to learn the raid. I understand it so do my other three... If it takes us an hour to do the raid for example, we would need to plan for 3 to 4 extra hours because you two don't know what you're doing. Now take that into account and then tell me what you could do in about 4 hours? Clearly people have things to do. People have work, family to take care of, IRL responsibilities etc. Don't you as well? If it's taking that long because you're not pulling your weight you would end up perhaps needing to go to bed because you have work or school or something of the like. Thus you would leave and you would have made us feel like we wasted our time. Let's say everything did go by fine and it took us 4 hours or maybe 5 hours because of difficulty or breaks. You made us spend extra time helping you. What are you going to do to reciprocate that kind of commitment? Are you going to do the same for others? Are you going to Sherpa now? You need to understand how you come off when you complain about people who say kwtd or kick. Clearly those groups have no time to teach. What you can do is do an lfg and make your own group. The players need to understand that you don't know what you're doing and you're ready to learn. Or you find groups that say willing to teach. Stop focusing on groups that have no time to teach you. They had to teach themselves the first time. Maybe they aren't confident enough to teach it right now anyway. Maybe they need to run it with their groups four or five times before they can run it like pros. Did you ever consider that? I am willing to bet not. Because you're making it about you. Food for thought.

Because they qre lazy and want to be carried.

Edited by gta5igrac: 3/9/2022 6:45:37 PMfind sherpas that teach. 1 kwtd - means you have experience with other raids and watched guides. (can have 0 clear on new raid) 2 sherpa - they will carry you -blam!- and teach you if you also work for it 3 carry - you are just a potato and they are doing low man challenges, expect to get kicked for afk-ing.
-
I actually joined an lfg the other day that was asking for kwtd and have 2 clears. He kicked a guy who got to rhulk on day 1 for not clearing it but before he left he checked his raid report and the poster hadnt even attempted the raid and accused the guy of reading his report wrong.
-
It’s almost like they’re just saying watch a video so you know what you’re supposed to do and aren’t lost. Not like they’re asking for clears.
-
4 RepliesHave you not tried to find five other people and learn it together
-
4 RepliesYou people getting last boss CP and pretending to know the whole raid is the reason those posts even exist in the first place. All i have to say is congrats for gatekeeping yourself
