So i play on PC and it's been a few months that i don't go pvp because i always got a lot of "connecting destiny 2 servers" messages and an error code just after that. I have a good internet connection (i can download the game in ~50min ) but ONLY in destiny i lag. Do anyone have an idea on my issue even a fix ? Thanks

  • Can you provide some of your tested network stats to both Bungie (Seattle Washington) and a location around 1000 miles/kilometers from your home area: Up/down speed Nat Ping, latency, jitter Are you on wifi or wired connection? Type of connection (dsl, fiber, cable, dialup, etc)?

      •
The server's message “Contacting Destiny Servers” indicates that there is a connection issue of some kind happening between you and Destiny 2. This may be an internet service provider issue. Here are some steps you can take to try and resolve the issue: A wired connection is recommended to play Destiny, and if your connection is being used for other things when playing the game, such as streaming, it's recommended to quit those programs. 2. Clearing your console cache or, if on PC, verifying the integrity of your game files. 3. Power cycling your internet router 4. Review our guide on improving latency and packet loss to see if that might help 5. Following our NTG for best optimizing your connection to Destiny. If issues persist, try our ADNG Advanced Steps Networking Guide for possible router solutions, such as enabling UPnP. You may also want to enable IPV6 on your router if you have it. 6. This player found a solution that involves installing a new network driver 7. You may want to change your DNS server on your console to Google's Nameservers (8.8.8.8. and 8.8.4.4.) 8. Contact your internet service provider to see if there are any issues with your connection.
