Gunsmith rank up is WAY too slow
Please adjust.
Gunsmith is finally useful but I've been stuck on rank 9 for like a week now.
I'm not saying it should rank as easily as it used to, but this is terribly slow.

1 ReplyI’ve dismantled thousands of pieces of armor and weapons since Witch Queen came out and I’m only Fabled III with the Gunsmith. Haven’t touched a single Gunsmith bounty though.

Absolutely. I’ve run 8-9 bounties almost every day day for the past two weeks and I think I’m level 9. That along with the almost constant dismantling of gear, to only be at level 9? That’s ridiculous isn’t it?

do bounties help? If not, do a lot of end game activities, you'll get a bunch of useless weapons you can breakdown. I don't even do the pinnacles and I'm at 13

1 ReplyThe Gunsmith rank system is designed to influence you to dismantle many of the weapons in your vault. Don't rely on drops only for significant progress.

19 RepliesI agree. It's super disproportionate to the other vendors. I've been playing A LOT since Witch Queen dropped. I've reset Vanguard like 3 times, am over 30 with Fynch, etc etc., and I'm always scrapping gear and doing Banshee bounties, and I'm only at rank 12. It's pretty ridiculous.

Do the dayli bounty they give 25 rank while dismantling 1 legendary give 3

3 RepliesI just don't understand why they felt that Banshee needed a similar ranking system as the core playlist. Regardless, I do agree that the process to increase his rank is too slow.

Do you see a gunsmith ritual activity on the map? Because I don't. If there was then sure, speed that -blam!- up. Do agree they could make getting his engrams faster though.

1 ReplyYes it is to slow I'm at rank 9 with him while in the others like vanguard I reseted already and for shaxx I'm rank 16. Overall it is very slow.

2 RepliesIf you are compelled to rank up faster you get 80 rep per character doing the daily bounties, so 240 rep a day right there. Not something I’d be willing to do but an option if you want it to go faster. I’ll level up when I level up. 🤷🏼

Agreed. First banshee was 20 xp per rank... Then it was 100 xp per rank because bungie said people stockpiled lots of materials before forsaken...and they would lower the requirement afterwards...which never happened. Blue's were 1 xp. Legendary's 3 xp. Now its over 200 xp per per rank.

2 RepliesThey will leave it [b]as is [/b] for the entire season (to maximise hamster wheel time) Then state at the end of S16 that it was a bug & will be rectified in S17 They did that last season with Gambit & Vanguard (they were 75% slower than they intended) I still don’t think they’ve fixed Gambit/Vanguard ranking this season

If your really that worried about it just do the dailys, couldnt tell you how much they give becaus I see no reason to fly through Banshees ranks in a week.... in reality though... its the third week of the season... like you have over 70 more days and your over half way done... I swear people just want everything handed to them.

When I saw that Master Rahool’s enhancement core sale was bugged I thought it was no big deal, I’ll just rank up my reputation with Banshee… … in about a month or two.

I said the other day that it seems 1/4th the speed but honestly so far I'm four times more ore likely to be interested in the reward.

They made sure to slow him down asap but can't -blam!- reset an alloy counter 😂
