Dead Cliffs spawn trap

When is the spawn entrapment on Dead Cliffs going to be fixed? I just finished a match where on several occasions, we had both b and c with players in b and c, and was respawned in A. This map has been notoriously bad about spawning in A with enemies in your spawn, at points where they have a, and you continue to spawn in A. PLEASE look into this. It is ruining an otherwise good map.

  • This map should be removed for 6 player crucible. Either you spawn at C or you'll lose the game

  • I like this map.. I’ve never been spawn trapped playing it. Don’t understand what all the moaning is about 🤔

  • It needs to be vaulted or only allowed for Trials.

    • Seriously, this map is so bad that it needs to be removed and never brought back. Don't try to tweak it; just toss it out completely; it never worked.

      • Most maps are bad. It's either shotgun corner campers or sniper lanes. But most maps are shotgun campers. I rather deal with sniper lanes cuz it's easier to counter snipers than it is to shotgun. Bungie should have never made 6v6 and should have stayed 4v4. Most maps are designed for 4v4 yet bungie ain't do anything to make the crucible better. Even some bigger maps that can handle 6v6 are bad. Yes I rather deal with snipers but some people run scouts and can dominate the battlefield. If we stay with 6v6, bungie needs to make maps than can handle both snipers and shotgun users. Have sniper lanes but can also have shotgun users close the gaps. Bigger maps with open areas but also have areas to go around the maps to flank or close the gap for people who rush with shotguns. For trials since it's a 3v3 let them have those cqc maps and maybe some long range maps for rotation. If bungie did this maybe just maybe, crucible might be good

      • There are a few maps that need very specific movement to win on when it’s a roughly even match between similarly skilled players. Dead cliffs in particular requires players to rush towards C if they spawn at A. The mistake I see people make most often is to try getting to B from A down the lane. Spawning is based on which side/zone more players are on. If more players are on C side you’ll spawn on C. If you have a bunch of idiots challenging in A-B lane, you get spawn trapped in A because there are more bodies on A side. Literally never, ever go out the right side when you spawn at A. Even 2 players anchoring C is usually enough to guarantee a C spawn as long as the whole remaining team isn’t scumming it up and pushing into A.

        • I remember playing Halo 1 & 2 maps that had better layouts than experiencing the nonsense in Crucible maps Bungie really needs to get Playtesters for alot of stuff

          • Alter of Flame is as bad. You start in the back corner on C you lose. You can’t get out. Only two routes and easy to camp and defend B. It was the same when they had 3v3 competitive and you got that map.

          • This map is ATROCIOUS for control based games… This map has been taken away once already and yet they’ve made NO IMPROVEMENTS what so ever… it’s like Bungo’s pvp team is completely clueless when it comes to recognizing what’s wrong with that map.
