To sum up 3 hours of playing Destiny 2 after Witch Queen Expansion:
I launch the game (takes 30 mins).
I travel to Tower (takes roughly 20-30 mins).
I wait for everything to render in before I can interact with anyone (takes about 10 mins).
I interact with Banshee and hover over bounty (takes about 10-5 mins before description appears).
I open up Destinations (takes about 5 mins of loading the destination map)
I travel to Savathuns Throne World (takes about 45 mins to an hour)
I finally make it to The Throne World just to see my game freeze and then crash a few mins later.
(Now I know I can just aquire the bounties on an extern companion app, but where is the fun in that honestly.)
Im a returning player back from when Curse of Osiris came out and played on a whole different account for about a year or so and came back 1 month before The Witch Queen Expansion. I love the game, but it took me about a week to complete the new campaign and I played nonstop, I mean like 10-12 hours a day. My friend was done about a day after it came out and he's on a PS4 Slim. I don't know if this is a PS4 PRO problem, but I'm at the point where I'd gladly settle for a refund and just obliviate this game from my PS.
Best regards
A not very patient person at this point

2 RepliesAlso on PS4 pro, and while my issues arent as bad as yours I still am having issues loading anything in a timely manner. For example, I can no longer preview finishers or transmat effects because they take so long to load the animation is over before anything appears. Looking at my weapons takes 10-15 seconds longer than it did before Witch Queen (which was already longer than before Beyond Light and Shadowkeep before that). I turned off HDR after the first time my game crashed from using it, but that was during the first misson in the expansion. Hopefully someone from Bungie can at least say they are aware of the performance issues on PS4 Pro and give us an idea of if we should expect anything.
