Can't complete, Report: Relic-Data Quest
I'm on step 3 of 6 so I have to craft Come to Pass and Tarnation. Would love to craft these weapons if only they dropped with deepsight resonance.
How the hell are you guys gonna have us do a quest but have these weapons drop rates less than 1k voices or Vex.
I swear the intelligence of your dev team is mind blowing.

It's funny how weapon crafting was an often requested feature by the player base as a way of circumventing bungies bad and ever encroaching rng, yet they somehow managed to create a crafting system that is dependent on it. Ha ha ha bitter irony.

I believe it's all time gated and wanting us to grind the heck out of crap without reaping the rewards. Basically, they want us to slow it down or they'll do it for us. Which they did! Imo. Could be wrong.

Dumb dumb decision by Bungie I also hate the shortage of Ascendant Alloy to get any enhanced perks this week - I guess the Rahool weekly limit not resetting is a bug they are also going to address at some point... Of course if a bug meant we could get 1 per day from him it would have been instantly patched

The grid is ridiculous! "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again!" In this case expecting an ending result. I am sorry I came back. This is the same old mindless crap. This is not enjoyable at all! To be honest it frustrates me to no end. And that is not why I choose to game. Time to move on. I will not pay another DLC or season ever again. And one more thing. Removing content that was already paid for like planet content and spending hours and hours and hours earning guns etc., to just have them unless, is real lame on Bungie's part. Talk about getting sc**wed over! Shameful way to run a business! But then again- you all know you are not governed in the gaming industry so you can do whatever you want to people. Again "Shameful!!!!" Not one more red cent coming from me!!

The whole crafting currency system is stupid. I have a vault full of attuned weapons because of the stupid currency caps. WTF? Between the BS crafting currencies and Rahool’s exchange rates, they added unnecessary currencies and really trainwrecked everything.

I have always had nasty RNG taking ages to get the VEX, i remember when i started when D2 in the early days really wanting the Vigilance Wing after seeing others use it and it actually became the last exotic that was possible to drop when it did and by then i was so pi$$ed that i had started to play other games and i finally got it from Xur as the last exotic i could get from the emblems. I only started playing again because of my son and that was not until splicer season but there have been times i have felt the same way with bad RNG but so far i have stuck with it. I got the 2 weapons you mentioned quite quick for some reason but I've been trying to get a Memento from Gambit and i have now reset my valour rank and still not got one yet i see youtube vids showing others getting 3 or so in quick succession. I don't think Bungle will ever learn but RNG needs to have some sort of bad luck protection on all RNG items because all it does is annoy the hell out of players

Edited by Lemon: 3/7/2022 4:25:02 PMThis questline gets annoying just cause of the steps of getting some weapons which have no meaning to it, yes, we all understand it "Teaches" you about crafting and stuff, but I'd say this is not a proper way of doing it, when the drop rate of this weapons is pretty much nonexistence or if you run "Enough" of one mindless activity for days to get the drop (which I did yesterday for the AR and the time it completed the attunements for both the guns, I dismantled them), I mean we use to have questlines like for Thorn or The Last Word, or Malfiancense, which has interesting ways to obtain this weapon, but where we stand now? do one activity over and over and over again just for what? dismantle it? this is not the way things could be time-gated, yes, make things harder to get but not make them annoying to do so, pretty sure not going to use the exotic glaive as well by the look of how it works. But had to complete it, and hope just hope devs fix/tune the drop rates a little bit so the wellspring didn't become just another activity the victim of the mindlessness of a game design.

Yeah it’s dumb. Either make the deepsight a heavy RNG drop and make all patterns only require 2 or make all weapons that can be crafted intrinsically have deepsight always but require 10 or so completions to complete a pattern.

1 ReplyRan a ton of Wells yesterday and got 2 CtP's but neither had resonance. I had a clanmate run about a dozen today and got 1 resonance Tarnation. So I'll give it some runs tonight but step should NOT be tied to RNGH!!! Lets talk the Braytech rocket launcher from Strange Terrain. I ran that damned thing at least a dozen times every time it was the NF for a whole Fing year before I finally got my Wanderer title. Got the gun, got the title, then dismantled it instantly, still in the NF not even in orbit yet. Never ran that NF again! RNGH - Really Never Gonna Happen!!!!

This Thursday or Wednesday depending where you are in the world. They said they are going to increase the drop rates for well spring weapons and ascendant alloy etc.
