Nope can't join unless you have ghally*
You hear it first, well back in D1 when you needed something so powerful like our beloved ghally*. Now a different problem with Guardians being "oh you gotta know what you're doing for this new raid to play with us". How are we suppose to know what to do for the new raid if we don't have the experience to learn with each other! If u have that bad of a problem or time to teach someone play with ur clan not trying to find random and be so rude!

21 RepliesThey should put a matchmaking raid playlist in that removes mechanics like shooting wall glyphs in order for example, to minimise wipes and replace mechanics with more unstoppable / barriers champions with a lower chance of loot drop would solve all problems for freelance raiders and newbies alike but will never happen you'll have to many people upset you might have the same gun as them lol

3 RepliesAnyone requiring anyone to have Ghally so probably just messing with you. The gun literally deals less damage than other rockets with the fact that it has 2 in the chamber being the only reason it has good burst DPS. Just my thoughts. Make a post if you want a guaranteed way around this.

Start your own raid group. There is nothing wrong with requesting that players know what to do.

Look for an actual Sherpa guide and watch guides on YouTube. Have a symbol sheet on hand to help with call outs.

Easy. KWTD means watch Youtube and then you'll know what to do. Its one thing to teach somebody every single step of an encounter vs saying "Hey Bob, you're on ad clear" and you know what others are doing vs asking 100's of questions while clearing ads. At least watch a video and say. "Hey guys, I've never done this before, but I've watched videos of every encounter" is honest and I've ran with people just fine with that. Do your self a favor and the other 5 in your future fire team and do it. =)

You don't want to play with the kind of -blam!- who are exclusionary in video games. Saying "Must Have X or Y" is a big sign saying "-blam!- ONLY" and I appreciate being able to identify them so easily. So I always say a quiet "thanks, -blam!-!" when I see that. In that way weapons like Gally can sometimes be -blam!- detectors. Very handy.

4 RepliesI don’t join kwtd groups if I don’t kwtd. I definitely don’t join any group that says “or kick” 😂 These are choices I make. I joined a caretaker group as I vaguely kwtd, having taken time to watch a video. They then chose to take me the rest of the way (honestly, it was easier to give me the relic and tell me to chase them and cleanse, than it was to lfg again), and I got my clear. All this is choice. I don’t look at groups and get grumpy, or demand people give me their time without doing the little I can to make their lives a little easier. Nobody owes me anything. To those that work, time is precious.

I mean it‘s „[b]know[/b] what to do“ and in my opinion it‘s okay to ask people to at least watch a guide before joining. In lfg groups people are joining and leaving, what feels like every 15 minutes, so it‘s understandable that lfg groups want people to at least be prepared.

Those days are sadly gone. They’ve turned it into a race and the people who play this way see no other way of playing. But don’t worry they will complete all content very soon and then the real complaints will start.
