2 RepliesWe just beat Caretaker, had his dead body in front of us, didn’t register the kill. Had to f***ing wipe and have to do it again after being at this for hours now. Bugs in a new expansion is one thing, but this many on a day 1 raid challenge? This is ridiculous.

7 RepliesNormally i love raiding, imo its one of the the best parts about destiny, but this.... this is the worst raid that has ever been produced. Not only are you under a time crunch but its so mechanics heavy that i feel if you misfire even a single bullet or step slightly out of line then you have to wipe. Kings fall was very heavily mechanics based and i hated it for that, this is worse, and it doesnt help the mechanics dont work half the time; like for example a glyph not showing up until youre almost engulfed in darkness or not knowing what a glyph is until youre 3 ft in front of it. Im hoping this is just cause its day 1, everyone is on doing it and the servers are lagging a bit, otherwise id say this needs a rework.

I would agree. This is by far the worst raid ever made, including raid lairs. Whoever created this should never be allowed to touch another raid design. Just plain awful.

4 RepliesDoesn't matter. Its absolutely by far the worst raid in either game. The entire raid is reading symbols and fighting a clock. Awful. I've flawlessed every raid and gotten the seal...and I may not even bother doing it anymore.

Yup, made a poll post about the raid before the witch queen came out wether or not bungo would make a fun raid or an over complicated mess and most people voted the over complicated mess, but of course the comments were riddled with bungo fan boys hating on me for suggesting bunghole still has no idea on how to make fun content

It'll be a combination of 'spaghetti code, not as easy as flicking a switch, if you don't like it play something else, worked perfectly for me must be your system/internet/skill issue'...

After playing on PS5 it's painful to go back to my own PS4 at home, and all the problems I've heard about the witch queen just hits it further home to just be as casual as possible. And I've been hardcore at this since closed alpha Destiny 1 dude. I'm seriously burnt out from disappointment with this franchise.

4 RepliesWho cares. This isn't a raid that regular pickup groups can do somewhat without trouble anyways. It fits the picture of this game literally only being developed for streamers and neckbeards these days. The Destiny community that actually raids is TINY already. Like only 2 percent of the entire playerbase even raid. Yet they stuff 80 % of the DLC resources into this content and make it this mechanically challenging and a constant timer crunch. This community is different from regular mmos where a lot of people raid. Making content consistently harder just gatekeeps the majority of players. Destiny players come from games like call of duty and such. Casual gamers. This game is now catered to like i said content creators and stinky chair gamers. Know your audience. LFG will have requirements like "must have 20+ clears" after 1 week because it will be unbeatable with regular non stinky chair gamers.

This game is so buggy that bounties stop working halfway thru working on them. Bunghole needs to quit using the player base to quality control test their game. Quit being a bunch of cheap p r i c k s and hire some real playtesters!!!!!!!!

Doesn't feel like they did, imo this raid has the most involved final boss fights they have done to date, however they did go overboard with the amount of symbols to memorize, but the mechanics are pretty simple and interesting.

It’s not just raids. Their QA process in pretty ineffective for a lot of things. Just look at all the things they disabled prior to the raid. If it wasn’t for YouTubers they never would have known about how busted enhanced one-two punch was.

4 RepliesAs the only major bug is an error code, the answer is probably yes. There is a huge difference between testing your raid in private test server, and launching it live with thousands of players loggin in at the same time

It's pretty clear from the number of weird bugs, and game breaking issues (i.e. like the HDR dark areas being inverted white, the huge performance loss etc.), they did minimal testing on it and shipped it as is. Ensuring the integrity of World's First should start with the coding of the game, not nerfing intelligent buildcrafting. Maybe raids shouldn't be released for a month after a new expansion, so they have time to nerf the player and ensure the game works.
