Hi,
So when destiny 2 came out, I had an account on Xbox. When the game started to blow for the first time, I stopped playing. Years later, when they finally improved the game, and I spent an additional sum of money on it, I was on my PS4 and started all over there with a PS4 account. The game begins to suck again as content dries up and game loop becomes tedious and unrewarding, the usual stuff. (FYI I was a destiny 1 veteran and played the absolute shite out of the game, but my current woes with Bungie have put a sour taste in my mouth.) I digress. After years played on my PS4 account, I build a powerhouse PC and cross save rolls out. I make my PS4 account the main account so I can play on steam, but now I can’t reclaim my Xbox account on this new PS5 I bought. Says i purchased bright dust on my PSN account, and it won’t let me resolve the issue. My overall goal is to continue using the PS4 account on my PC and to transfer my Xbox account from years back to my PS5 so I can play with my girlfriend and she doesn’t have to start with nothing. The goal in mind is that I can continue to play on PC with that PS4 account, meanwhile she’s on a new PSN account on the PS5 using the old Xbox account. I legitimately think I need intervention from bungie. I can’t disable cross save to unlink the Xbox account, but I also don’t want to lose my PS4 account on PC.
Please help!

Please do a search for "Cross save issues" on Bungie.net or the Destiny app to bring up a help guide which covers the most common issues with cross save. Note.. nothing is transfered in cross save it just allows you to access your chosen characters on a different platform.
