Felwinters helm Weaken? Suppress? or both? (season of the risen mods)
I was build crafting and came across the idea of pairing the energy vampirism and suppressive darkness mods with Felwinters Helm. I understand the wording of the mods is different from what the helmet says about weakening and suppression (I wasn't getting any ability energy when trying to proc the mods with finishers or melee abilities). However using a suppressor grenade to test and compare with Felwinters Helm gave me some odd results. I tested against low tier enemies and high tier enemies and even hive guardians most enemies appear to have the same reaction to Felwinters weaken ability as they do with suppressor grenades same with some bosses. Seems like felwinters will suppress and weaken some enemie and only weaken others and can't proc suppression mods. if the answer is just its a stronger weaken affect my hours of testing would prove other wise Im not convinced but seems like something could be bugged or not working properly. I also tested to see if domineering would work in the same way but they were still able to attack me so Im assuming my suspicions are correct here. when I say similar results I mean that enemies appeared to be blinded to a degree and unable to attack me very much like a suppression tool and yet they were only weakened? It almost seems like they may have forgotten to update the Helm to accommodate for Void 3.0.
