My platform online status should be reflected in the rosters of my Bungie Friends. If I set it to offline then I should not appear online to them.
-
2 RepliesIt'll be hard since Bungie's network and Sony/Microsoft/Steam/etc... aren't linked together and it will display your status separately. The same thing happens in other games that make you create an account like CoD
My platform online status should be reflected in the rosters of my Bungie Friends. If I set it to offline then I should not appear online to them.
It’s in the work queue. It’ll be done right after Bungie start respecting players time. 😉

Anti-social?

Pro Tip: Don’t fell like being social? Don’t accept invites.

1 ReplyEdited by THE GRIND IS REAL: 3/4/2022 3:14:06 AMI'm sure they have more important things to fix than fix your incapacity to say your busy to a freind playing solo doing bounties etc plus it can be set to invites only

12 RepliesEdited by AbsolutZeroGI: 3/4/2022 1:42:08 AMOr, buck up and just tell your friends you don't feel like playing with them sometimes instead of hiding from them all the time.
-
3 RepliesHave you considered to stop being a fake friend and let the friends you accepted know your status?
-
13 RepliesI'm not making fun or anything but why is it so hard (that's what she said lol) to just tell them "hey I'm just doing me right now, I'll hit you guys up later" I do that to my friends and clan in any game. They understand, and respect that. I just don't get why ppl gotta be shy or sneak around to play lol. Just be straight up any hit u up just be honest. With that being said, I do agree that there should be always options in games like this. But then again if they did that their end game wouldn't be friendship lol

What? it's not assuming the platform status? Jesus Bungie, what's your problem? Now you don't even respect your player's privacy settings?
-

I went from hiding my online status to, ill talk and play when I want to. There are plenty of times that I just want to chill out and be quiet.

If you mark yourself as "Invisible" in Steam then you remain invisible in your friends list as well. Tested it last night and your friends can't see you in Destiny roster.
-
You could just close your fireteam or msg them back. Not a big deal imo.
-
Fireteam to invite only and ignore everyone 🤷♂️
-
I’m blessed in that I don’t have anyone I feel the need to avoid.
-
While that would be nice - since they're independent of one another, and it's not like Bungie is going to give Steam/Microsoft/PS access to privacy settings (or vice versa), don't see this happening without one buying out all the others. I wonder if privacy settings on Bungie makes a difference. Anyone fill in that blank for me?

2 RepliesIf you're on PS...it does. On the other platforms...🤷, No idea.

4 RepliesCant you just tell them you are in the mood to play alone? I tell my friends I want to be alone and they just say “alright see you later”. Its really not that big a deal to say it how it is.
-
This is a unreasonable request
someone paid me to say this
-
When I go offline its because I'm avoiding a few players at that particular time. If somebody hits me up on the Roster when I'm offline I simply ignore them.
