Hey there, no that's not how it works, here it the process in brief. 1, Weapons can come with Deepsight Resonance. The main purpose of this is to complete the attunement, which lets you extract some crafting materials, 2, Some weapons have Patterns, you can see which ones on the Patterns and Catalysts part on the Triumphs tab. Extracting the materials as per the above on a weapon with a learnable Pattern, will make progress on unlocking the Pattern, some require 2-5 extractions. 3, Once a Pattern is unlocked, you can craft the weapon, and then using it will cause it to start levelling up. 4, Not all weapons that can come with Deepsight Resonance, have unlockable Patterns. The Last Breath does not have a Pattern to obtain, the only part of the above it can do is step 1, attunung it to earn some crafting materials for the weapons that can be shaped/reshaped.
