150 scouts need a massive buff... Got the new Perses-D to drop with a great roll and was very disappointed to find it was just plain bad. :/ Shoots to slow for the amount of damage that it does. Takes TWO headshots to kill a basic red bar enemy. Tried it in PVP as well and was also very disappointed by its performance.
Please bungie, show some love to these scouts, they are cool guns, I want to use them. But a basic white quality weapon of ANY other type is miles better then a 150.

Yes they could use some love, especially the old Jade Rabbit. Give the Jade Rabbit an extra perk, or a bigger magazine, or something. I still use it sometimes to chip away at its catalyst, but it just feels like running Sunshot without anything cool or explosive. (IMO Jade Rabbit is a 150 HC in disguise)

Edited by KIngJS922: 3/3/2022 9:11:30 PMI think they should make them do like 72-74 to the head in pvp, and have a damage increase similar in pve, or they should just scrap 180s cause they're useless, and make 150s become 160s or 170s. Worked for 110 hand cannons.

1 ReplyThe Perseus-D is amazing so not sure what you are talking about. It’s my most used primary weapon with rapid hit and headstone and it’s too good.
-
1 ReplyI think using only punches would be more effective than most 150’s.
-
1 ReplyRemember how they could 1 shot most red bars in D1? Heck even slow firing ARs would 1 shot red bars (low tier etc acolytes, Vandals)

The :/ perfectly captures how I feel when I try out a great roll on a weapon that fails to compete. It doesn't feel good or bad it's just weird it's like "the roll is great and i wanna make this gun work bc i like it but is it really worth the effort"

2 RepliesEdited by hate n payne: 3/2/2022 12:32:40 AMThis is a proof that addressing the META each sandbox is killing off the other components of the game especially when the core PVP state is lacking in map redesigns, larger maps additions or matchmaking perimeters. Bungie needs to stop focusing on Trials for a bit and focus on the underwhelming content.

I love that scout and have gotten some good rolls on it. Stats for all/headstone stats for all/explosive payload. Wish it was craft able.

1 ReplyScouts need less zoom, at least one should be at 14, like the Cold Denial pulse rifle.
-
2 Repliesthey are bad. I don't know if it was a glitch or something, but I was fighting a Primeval in Gambit, and my PersesD was only getting 160 damage per shot, then I pulled out my sidearm Punching Out, which was getting 600 at the same range. Something is wrong there.

3 RepliesScouts in general haven't been super great for a long time. If they are ever good in PvP, everyone will hate it.
-
1 ReplyCan’t believe they got scouts perfect in D1 but they can’t just redo what they did back then. It’s not like other weapon types didn’t also have a place when scouts were more powerful.
-
2 Replies150s are the 360 Auto Rifles of Scout Rifles
-
Shoots to slow for the amount of damage that it does
kinda the point.

1 ReplyI've got a Perses-D with Perpetual motion, Explosive roll and it slaps but it could do with a little more.

Transfiguration is my fav Nightfall weapon

150s aren’t bad in PvP. They feel pretty easy and good, they’re just not given what they need to succeed because scout metas are bad for the game.
-
I just think they need to stop making the Hakke weapons as practically only the slowest archetype of weapons. I wanna see 720 hakke auto rifles, 180-260 scouts, lightweight frame smgs etc. just something different cause hakke has always been one of my favorite foundries from the destiny universe and they haven’t gotten a good weapon at all in d2. All in all though I will say there are some serious underperformers in the 150 category of scouts. I’m not saying all of them are bad I just don’t know if it’s just how sluggish they feel due to really poor handling and reload stats 90% of them get. The only good 150s are honestly just the exotics.

2 RepliesMy talons of the eagle slaps, pve and pvp.

I used this a bit and I gotta say two tapping minor enemies in pve feels about like scouts from D1. Which they're amazing in D1. If anything scouts can use a buff to major enemies and guardians
-
7 RepliesUnfortunately, Scouts will almost all feel underpowered because Bungie doesn't like how far away a Scout can engage enemies without suffering damage falloff. No, really. That's the reason. They intentionally keep Scouts weak overall because of an intentional design they decided was "too safe."
-
3 RepliesSame with 360 auto’s.
-
Bungie ends up buffing all hand cannons instead 😂
-
3 RepliesI’d prefer the archetype to just get folded into 180’s and have 150’s go away.
