Edit: Point in case, yesterday's seasonal bounty, level up a close range weapon, I'm glad I hoarded, I see this will be a thing that yet again is not retro active.

Cause that's needed lol they drop like crazy! No real need to save them

1 ReplyStop doing it. It completely sucks anyway. You'll get every roll you want traditionally anyway. Most of the new weapons aren't good to begin with.
-
Then spend the mats?
-
Be careful, i had two red weapons turn normal yesterday while playing gambit.
-
Just don't do that, problem solved. You only need to craft 1 of each weapon and if you're swapping perks that much that you're a fool. At most 2 of each weapon if you play PvP, but still. The only way that's an issue is if you're swapping perks every match. And if that's the case, what are you doing? It isn't that important. Just get the perks you want to make it your preferred roll then stop. And at most upgrade it once when you unlock the enhanced perks. No need to hoard resources at all lol
-
Are you really going to need all those mats though? There aren't even that many number of guns to craft. Once you craft a godroll it should save space ultimately.

Not to mention gunsmith rep gains reward hoarding at the beginning of seasons too gg bungie

7 RepliesEdited by Merc: 3/1/2022 3:08:42 PMYes. And commenters defending limitations on vault space of saying “dOnT hOaRd” and “hOw ArE yOu RuNnInG oUt Of SpAcE?” Are mindless. Many players have committed much time, years even, curating their vault. I have expired items, year one weapons and armor, etc. This is why sun setting pissed so many people off (along with making hard earned weapons useless). I easily have 200-250 spaces completely locked for collection purposes. Combined with various weapon rolls I debate over keeping, high level exotics and now red bar weapons and spaces get full fast.

13 RepliesMy biggest concern is....why do I have to fly to the Enclave ro see how many doritos I have

2 RepliesEdited by Kord: 3/1/2022 4:24:47 AMThe dumbest part about the crafting mats caps is that we all know when new weapons get added to crafting they are going to add new mats to craft them so people having tons of the current mats built up not going to matter anyways. Caps on mats is a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. Would think professional game developers would know this after having made these types of systems so many times now.

3 RepliesI bet u dont use even half of the stuff in your vault. 500 spaces is plenty
-
1 ReplyDoes anybody know how you tell how many of the different crafting materials you have?
-
Perfect, Bungie will nerf the drop rate so you have less to store.
-
They should have just made it that dismantling weapons gives us the materials.
-
3 RepliesPutting caps on resources and imaginary fairy currencies is so stupid. Some of them take forever for a casual player to collect.
-
2 RepliesThere is a vault? I never cared about it 😂 i dismantle gear i dont need anyway
-
1 Replyi don't give a fkk, i dismantle everything! Red, exotics, blues, you name it 99% of everything we get is garbage anyway, im on a quest to reach 200 000 legedary shards, then i will delete everything drinking expensive whiskey and smoke a cigarr
-
10 RepliesWhy horde though… I immediately equip level and extract; aaannnddddd then dismantle.
-
1 ReplyAgain, the main issue is convolution. Much of it is not clear. Mats arent clear. The end result isnt really clear. And it really isnt too different than what we've had in the past. Also, something that might seem dumb, but the icons and UI inside the crafting station just isnt that cool looking. The core system just isnt very inspiring and is a little confusing. Needs work.

4 RepliesEdited by hate n payne: 3/1/2022 7:32:20 PMAn ancient Collections system is the main issue. Collections hasn’t been updated at all except as a showcase for armor and weapons. What needs to happen is Collections should become a storage system for “OUR” own previous collected gear while the vault should be designed for that current season. Normal armor can be Transmog now so there is no real need to have armor drop as often as it does in game due to how players can use this system. Allow armor to drop with mid to high stat rolls ONLY. Exotics should be allowed due to stats and no Transmog. They should maintain their stats, kill trackers and PL when stored into Collections for future use. Legendary weapons sunset or non-sunset should follow the same structure and system as exotics. Players should be limited to 3-5 slots for each specific gear and when players delete the gear from Collections, it would no longer become available. Deleting gear from Collections open up slots for future use. Every player’s Collections should be uniquely different from each other due to how players enjoy the game.

13 RepliesYes. And yesterday the complaint was no red resonance weapons drop at all?, so what now!? Too many or too few? I agree with regards to caps in general but that's not the game breaker. Imho. Sometimes I have the feeling - and no, I am not a Bungie/Destiny fanboy - we are just looking for another fly in the ointment. Regardless of what Bungie are doing or delivering. What we got is still far better than we had so far. Yes, still room for improvement but in all fairness to Bungie they have all reason to be proud of this expansion. Including weapon crafting.

5 RepliesWhat is with Y'all and Hoarding Stuff? Bounty Hoarding Strange Coin Hoarding Enhancement Prism Hoarding Ascendant Shard Hoarding Do I need to call Horders on A&E and get them involved in the Community?

Imagine having a hoarding problem........couldn't be me.
-
7 Replieshard to tell your near the cap of materials since the only way I know of to check is to be at the Enclave
-
These weapons aren’t new either. Got an auto rifle today. Slow firing, long range and high damage. Exactly the same as a sunset weapon from D2 day one! Another auto is Tigerspite reskinned. A rare weapon and not even legendary. I’m thinking that the red square lets me know which weapons to dismantle and screw crafting.

2 RepliesDelete them, and don't farm for them anymore, if you're at the cap so easily, it's because you can farm for them whenever you want. No need to stock.
