Thinking back to season 14 and the old Eliksni story about an ancient foe who was a shapeshifter. Is it safe to assume that Skira and The Witness are one in the same? The Witness has been described as being formless, presenting as many different things to many different characters. I also can’t help but think about the adjectives being used to describe both of them (Watcher) and (Witness).

2 RepliesEdited by Jruong: 3/3/2022 2:40:50 AMIt’s really a reference to Stephen King’s It. - Both Skira and It are shapeshifters - Both feed on fear and prey on the weak - Both are ultimately destroyed when the Eliksni and the children of Derry overcome their fear Hard to believe that even the Eliksni have read Stephen King books huh? Skira the Watcher is nothing more than a homage to It. Sorry to disappoint you all.

I think Skira is a post light and dark saga villain.

The Witness isn’t known to be a shapeshifter. It’s most likely that it was an Ahamkara.
