So I Deleted My Red Herring Rocket Launcher
Got the Red Herring (red outlined) and I actually used it for infusing since I had no desire to use it or craft it anytime soon. Now there's a quest line where I HAVE to craft one to advance towards the exotic glaive. Can this step be updated to be weapon types (kinetic, energy, heavy) and not specific weapons. Cuz RNG is not friendly.

I'm level 28 with fynch. I've only seen the one red herring drop from campaign mission. Have yet to see a single red herring drop from any tier 3 chest. Most idiotic quest step, ever.

I did exactly the same thing. Hindsight is 20/20, but you can’t help some knobs on the internet berating you for not doing what they did.

It sounds hard but just farming it in the throne world is easy. Also its dumb to dismantle deepsight weapons before completing them this is a new system that makes it so deepsight weapons are the only way that you can make new weapons. You need to learn to use them till they complete then dismantle/infuse
