Scorn Raider Crossbows Instakill?
Scorn raiders, red and yellow bar, have been instakilling me and a friend through supers, through overshields combined with Stag-buffed wells, through literally everything in a single shot. This is in the legendary campaign, but they still wreck your health outside it. I'm convinced that they've been massively overturned in some way, and I don't know if it's unfair intentionally, or if it's a bug.

I noticed getting killed by them after getting parasite like world enemies got a damage increase. Showed recommended level 1550 like wtf why?

1 ReplyI think it has something to do with framerate. I've seen examples where higher framerates tanked the whole shot, while lower framerates resulted in you getting one-shot.

In legendary campaign you 25+ light under level since your power capped just like GMs and contest mode for raids. Also scorn snipers seem to deal bonus damage since they fire 3 projectiles. Best advice is make sure your at the power cap and run sniper resistance mods on your chest peices. They reduce sniper damage by 24% and stack up to 40%. You can also run sniper + void resistance for a total of 50% resistance.

Not that this is right, but they've been like that forever. There is a damage glitch in the game where you get hit and just die no damage response or red bar. It's stupid.

1 ReplyThings that don't make sense in this game: Being able to take out gods, only to be demolished by shield bashes, fallen/scorn snipers, fallen swords, and ogre stomps. If I was Oryx, I'd be sitting in the ascendant realm bashing my head against a wall that I couldn't do what a bunch of trash ads can do with one shot

In the legendary campaign yeah it makes sense how much they do but I agree somethings off about them in free roam

I've been tanking 1-2 shots pretty consistently, even against that really annoying sniper boss. You aren't underleveled and/or using resist mods, right?

3 RepliesWait till you face the boss in the legendary campaign. My only advice is 2 go at him with supers, one unloads heavy into him, then he uses his super and the other 2 use heavy, use your titan walls and warlock rifts lmfao. Grenade then super him, especially if it has a weaken effect.

Yep. So glad they really weren't part of any of the legendary no revive zone stages! It's bad enough Bungie snuck in some exploder sucker punches with the radar off.

4 RepliesIt's because not one Projectile hits you... you get hit by 3 Shots in one hit... Scorn is the most Unbalanced Enemy faction in Destiny with Taken on the Second Place
