Bungie, for God's sake, add the option to disable all hints, I repeat all hints! Why should I look at the flashing window "perform weapon transformation" during the plot dialogue. I don't want to perform this transformation right now, don't be annoying bores! And by the way, during the mission with the mirror world, after solving the riddle with the tablets, the tooltip does not disappear, but continues to blink and blink! Annoying stuff like this is impossible, let people turn it off.

1 ReplyYup. Ive been playing Bungie games since Marathon. The last thing I need is a tutorial. There were moment where the tutorial nonsense was interfering with story, or in a couple instances, active multiplayer content. As a side note: It would be super awesome, for voice content, if we had an option to selectively enable/disable that. Most of the time, I play with music and voice completely off. That lets me hear wear enemies are surprisingly well. But I do want to hear new voice content. Maybe we could turn it on or off by area? Or maybe by season? Or maybe by activity? I NEVER want that stuff on in pvp, or any place I have been a thousand times...

At least you didn't overreact, that's the main thing..
-
2 RepliesAbsolutely yes I was yelling at the top of my lungs earlier because even after you you finish a quest it's still sometimes stays on your screen glitched out and you have to restart it's so annoying I have one on my screen right now for a mission that I'm not even doing
-
It's already an option, however if the hint is already on screen and you turn it off, it won't make it go away. You have to turn them off before they pop up.
-
This dlc was supposed to be the start of destiny 3 I swear. All subclasses would of been 3.0
-
I made the mistake of looking at my class a little to quick. Omfg the speed at which I had to follow it and move onto the next part. Ready to give it to my dog and come back
-
1 ReplyHow it should work: Enter your void subclass - Prompt appears. "would you like a tutorial for Void 3.0?" (yes/no) Go to craft a weapon - Prompt appears. "would you like a tutorial for weapon crafting?" (yes/no) if you select no right away but would like to see the tutorial later, a tutorial button should be placed in a corner somewhere.

Thing i hate the most is i have In-game Hints turned off in my Settings and i still get them...
-
Some of those things dont go away until you go to orbit and they cover the bottom part of the screen DURING a fight..... Im sure that is not intentional, and I am also sure it is / was annoying.
-
Hints / tutorials are definitely useful, but the way they are presented is not. I'm jumping around in the dark and then stuff like this pops up. The only thing that happens - you quit this "tutorial" as soon as possible to continue with what is interesting at that moment - to survive. I would definitely like to have an in-game tutorial that I can call up in the right places when I want it. Here it is like a nag screen. Imagine driving 230km/h on the highway in a super-modern car and a huge message pops up via HUD all over the windshield that there's an update for the "Where's the nearest Starbucks" app. That brings me to the real point - such developers don't play their own game.

1 ReplyI vote for the tops to have a button to accept that you have read the tip, this way the tip could go away.
-
1 ReplyEdited by bh: 2/25/2022 1:53:35 PMThere should be a setting I currently have them off
-
I'm more annoyed by my weapons flashing on my characters inventory... I mean, it really bothers me.
-
They should implement something along the line like the elder scrolls online has in their menu. They have an option to disable the tutorial hints that pop up. They get really annoying because they sometimes don’t go away after a long time and it gets annoying.
-
2 RepliesI'm glad I'm not the only one that's annoyed by all the constant hint boxes, and Bungie messages. I get spammed by that stupid 'Text Chat' message everytime I play Destiny 2 on PS5. And I can't get rid of it. Its there when I'm in orbit, exploring a Destination, doing bounties, fighting bosses, when I'm speaking to a NPC, it's even there when other tutorials and hint boxes are on the screen. I -blam!- hate it. I'm a solo player, so I don't care about text chat, so -blam!- off and leave me alone.
-
1 ReplyIt's super annoying seeing these tutorials pop up that won't leave until you do what they say, like I had one for the new void subclass, only showed up after i'd already set it up to my liking (well as close to my liking as I could since Bungie removed my favourite melee)

1 ReplyEdited by Demon_XXVII: 2/25/2022 1:57:49 AM@Bungie - surely there should be an option in the settings to turn these off? I’m sure there used to be for Beyond Light
-
While useful for noobs and forgetful Guardians, the Hints/Tips alert tutorials obscure too much of the screen, and frequently, at critical moments; then it becomes a scramble to find the right button to get rid of it - usually not, or, simply follow the flashing hints to work through the tutorial - which was both painfully slow and annoying af. 🤬 A simple toggle switch would be a welcome option. 🙄
-
Yeah, if it’s your first time playing turn they’re kinda useful. But I’ve played all the campaigns and well, I’ve not needed them
-
I had one cover up the info on the bottom I needed while reshaping the enigma, and had to do it twice.

9 RepliesMeh hardly noticed and also helped me a few time 🤷🏼♂️
-
Bungie could at least make them smaller. There’s no reason why a popup should take up a third of my screen.
-
I got the "in order to ride a sparrow one," during a ending of a campaign over 3,000 hours of game. I'm starting to feel like Han Solo with C3PO in Empire.
-
Definitely annoying, especially since it seems this overall tutorial system is somewhat buggy. I had "redo" the Void 3.0 tutorial twice because the tool tip was still telling me to select my Light based subclass. And today, I got the "Press [button] to show your objective" twice while free roaming on the Throne World.
