The 2 Truths and 2 Lies
In one of the Alters of Communion, Savathûn played a game with us. She tells us 2 Truths and 2 Lies:
1. Mercury, Titan, and Io are under her care.
2. The Witness gave us back Mars.
3. We will have the power to move worlds.
4. The Taken King will rise again.
Me personally, I think that 2 and 4 are true, because if we know Savathûn, The reality is often scarier(2 and 4) and the lies are made to give us comfort(1 and 3).
Besides, 1 can’t be true because those planets were taken by the darkness under the control of the Witness. And 3 as well, because of how Savathûn manipulated people with similar promises for a long time (Pit of Heresy, Crota Vex portal, using Uldren and Riven, etc.). Only the Witness could bring Mars back to the system as it was consumed by the darkness(2), and 4 possibly because of raid reprisal and season indications (Saturn, where the dreadnaught was also appears in the planet directory next to Nessus).
What are your thoughts?

I think 4 is definitely truth, but not as we’d immediately think of it. I think a taken king will rise, but not “Oryx, the taken king”. I think Savathuns wording for that as “The Taken King” is a redirect and we will be the Taken King that rises.

False- considering how recently Savathun got the light (though she is powerful and knowledgable with it) I still don’t think she has the power to take those planets out of the anomalies yet. Considering how long and difficult it was for her to move the traveller it would be even harder for her to move entire planets in and out of different realities. Also if they were under her care I think we would have noticed a change in the areas where the planets were originally. Would have noticed that either the anomalies were gone or had changed from an anomaly of dark to light. 2. True- There’s overwhelming evidence on this being the case when considering the new crafting area (forgot the name XD). Why would this be put on the planet for crafting weapons if it would never be used by anyone. It wasn’t there before Mars was taken away so there is a clear purpose to it being present now AND the darkness clearly knew that Savathun had a part of the Enigma glave and the forge just so happened to have a mould for the glave as well. Also why would they create this ability for the Light if it were only going to be used once and on the traveller not even on a planet. Savathun talks to us about this ability a few times and I think this emphasis on it is trying to tell us of its importance. 3. True- Savathun seems pretty set in defying the Witness and she has left us memories in case she died. I feel like these memories r wats going to allow us how to learn to move worlds. If we r going to even stand a chance agains the Witness this power is absolutely necessary in defeating them. 4. False- this is a statement in lore and in the world of destiny and would therefore not refer to the developers bringing back Kings Fall as that is out of universe and has nothing to do with the lore. Also bringing back Oryx doesn’t make sense with the darkness ideology of the sword logic as things such as necromancy go against the sword logic, even then any other way would still go against the sword logic. That is one if the main reasons Oryx banished Nokris as well showing Oryxs devotion to the practice.

Labeling it as 2 truths and 2 lies is restrictive. All of them are lies, but each holds a truth. 1. Add Mars to that, possibly more. 2. The Witness technically did, but through Savathûn. Savathûn gave us Mars back. 3. Way too vague to be true, way too vague to be false. 4. Oryx could come back, but not as the Taken King. ... All these are deceptive truths. 1. Minimization /Omission 2. Technicality 3. Fabrication 4. Exaggeration

All four are truths except maybe 3. I don’t trust that she’d blindly just play a game of two truths and a lie.

Honestly I think 2 might be true and the time torn area’s is a scare tactic to basically tell us “this is only a sample of my power” etc, or it could be a lie we just don’t know with Savathun.
