I preordered witch queen deluxe edition. I have the ghost shell and emote that proves it. when i entered the game ,I had to buy the season pass, which i should not have needed to. I completed the first 2 missions, and everything else is blocked because it says I dont own the witch queen expansion. I checked my files on Xbox and it did not show The Witch Queen there despite the fact I pre-loaded the update last night.
What do I have to do. is there any way to fix this and get my $10 for the season pass back

2 RepliesI am having the same issue.y files for the witch queen deluxe edition+30th Anniversary pack or literally in my add one list since beyond light but it's still telling me I need to purchase it, how are they gonna resolve this since they don't have email support ticket system!

I have preordered it in June 2021 trough the ps store and the 30e annev. djust did his job but after the latest update all went wrong. Weird thing but i did got the exotic sparrow witch came with the season of the risen this i could collect it when icame in the tower for the first time. Weird thing in my situation is that on the account ( ps+) where i ordered it the game just works fine i can open all boxes in the season pass but, the account i am playing on ( its my secondary account) i have the same problems as most of the players here. Are there more players having the same ( even weirder)problem as me? or did you not checkt it yet? Maybe Bungie reads this and having the solution for my and other players problem. i also have contacted playstation with this problem they advised me to reinstall the game and do a licence update on the ps5 but so far it did not helpt me yet.

Small update. It was never specified but it sounds like all of us that ordered the CE full w/ game edition should have received a game code in an envelope. Any of us who didn’t were sent the No code edition instead. This is what we will want to communicate to Bungie Store to avoid unnecessary troubleshooting/questioning from them. Stay Vigilant!

1 ReplyI’ve sent a Twitter thread containing a summary of our issues and how our console storefronts troubleshooting is not solving the problem and is stating it’s a Bungie issue. I’m hoping the more we spread this the quicker we can get a proper fix. My uneducated hunch is that whatever fix Bungie pushed to get our dlc goodies to work in Aug may have caused the actual dlc from working properly. The 30th anniversary content and the WQ preorder pack dlc code. It was all sent in one code. I restarted the game which gave me access to continue the Witch Queen campaign. However, my season pass which I'm entitled to due to owning the deluxe edition just isn't there!

Same!??? I got the CE as soon as it dropped, got my code, played the anniversary content, and even got all the cosmetics. After calling PSN all day I have yet to play mission 3 of the campaign . What a huge disappointment for those that spent the most on this expansion. I am extremely disheartened.

Glad to see I am not the only one. I keep creating the bungie store help ticket and they just keep sending me emails with a link to their shipping plans that have obviously already past. I spent a total of 285 dollars with tax and shipping on the very first moment of pre-ordered with absolutely nothing to show for it, other than access to the 30th anniversary edition content and some cosmetic bs. No collector's edition, no tracking info for it, and not even a tiny little bit of customer appreciation support. Oh and one more weird thing under transactions in the bungie store it says that the transaction is closed. This is obviously not a closed transaction.

Same here, Bungie hasn't acknowledged that there's a problem with those who pre ordered the collector's edition. We are locked out from Playing the campaign and advancing on the season content. One would expect higher from a $300 edition. Do something!!! Escalate the problem to people that might actually care about players

mine was the CE but I'm in the same situation. got the code for preorder stuff and 30th anniversary pack. but when my CE got here, there was no code in it so I can't access WQ or seasonal stuff. super disappointing. even more disappointing is bungie not even listening to our issue and just pointing fingers at the platform owners, which will just waste EVERYONE's time. its very poor form honestly.

I have the same issue. Finished first 2 missions and the rest, plus other content is locked out. I’ve checked that all files are installed, which they are. Iceberg also completely uninstalled the game and all content, then reinstalled, still have same issue. IF I also log in my wife’s Xbox account, then switch back to mine, then I have access. Of course this doesn’t allow us to play together (on separate consoles) as I have to log her out of my Xbox to play with her.

4 RepliesSame thing for me. I have screenshots to show that in the Destinations page, it says I don’t own it. However when I manage the game through the menus of the Xbox One, it says I have it installed. Just restarted and it’s saying the same thing.

I am having the same issue. On the PlayStation store it says it is purchased but when I'm in game it says it was not purchased. Another classic Bungie mistake, not sure why I expected anything else.

yo are not alone! yesterday redeemed the WQ Delux from a code, got the preorder bonus in game (emblem, ghost, emote) on my character. and today MY WQ DELUX disappeared and they want me to rebuy it !! i got all preorder bonus stuff on my character, got a redeemed code in PS Store history, and the game and console store says that i dont own anything and i have to REBUY IT! how is it possible that i dont have WQ when ive got transaction history and in game bonus pack on my character?!

Completely same issue here! Under the "Season 16" tab if I hover over the season banner it even says I own all the upcoming seasons! So glad I spent $130 of my hard earned money to buy the 30th anniversary plus deluxe witch queen... I tried calling Microsoft and they instructed me to contact the game developer to have them re-issue the license because Microsoft is apparently "unable" to do it. Which I think is a crock. I literally have the transaction in my bank records! What the heck?
