And whoever though these negatives would be a cool gameplay addition while nerfing charged with light into the ground is terrible. Not even minutes into playing and I just turned it off. More negatives and losing more power. We get all abilities less can’t even get orbs reliably and champion mods don’t even work challenge for what?! What’s the point if player investment is negated for muh challenge.
-
I don’t even need orbs anymore. -blam!- em! With wells and void3.0lock I pretty much have a room clearing grenade every 2 seconds.
-
Overall i like a lot of the changes especially the new mobius quiver and dive ability, but still not quite hitting all the marks i was hoping for. I'm mostly just dissapointed in the keen scout nerf. No more sprint speed boost was a big loss for me in terms of the feel of gameplay. and the radar enhancement got nerfed too which is unfortunate, but less of an annoyance for me especially since chaff is enabled in legendary campaign anyway. Losing heart of the pack is pretty disappointing too, but the keen scout nerf is the one that hits me the hardest for sure

19 RepliesI just solo'd the legend campaign on my hunter and being invis, having abilities, and having debuffs frequently is pretty great. New tether is amazing and omnioculus makes everything better. I personally think hunter is the best in terms of solo content and survival.

1 ReplyEmbrace change Accept Balance More will be revealed Are you not bored of the crucible just being endlessly full of hunters Yeah it's a good time smashing PvP with a hunter It's a good time smashing it with all the classes The pricing of this content and tye pay walls are more of a pressing issue right now

Hey so recently I realized that the old bottom tree play style is still possible and honestly a bit stronger than before, but it's only really possible with the Omniculous. It got a change recently with Void 3.0 where you'll get melee energy back, even if you're in the immediate vicinity when the invisibility is applied and around a teammate. Only thing is that with out that exotic the old play style requires some well mods to really play like it's old self, but even then it'll still be different.
-
I think its more of adapting to the new style. If you go in with the old bottom tree mindset, youre gonna be disappointed.
-
You are missing Heart Of The Pack probably much like I. However, this concept is much better. The smoke grenade is implemented with all these smokes components of the old and I can slam a lot in Spectral Blades. The Shadowshot is more than pleasant.
-
10 RepliesI agree. I preferred the old bottom tree nightstalker play style over the current builds available by a wide margin.
-
I’m having a blast. Ran the legendary campaign with mobius quiver and omnioculus with either the suppressing Glauber or bull composure. Constantly going invis is super helpful and the super just destroys.
-
Well I have infinite ivis if I focus on melee for stats so yes it sucks-ish
-
10 RepliesMoebius Quiver alone makes Void 3.0 worth it Paired with a full weakening build and near constant uptime on invis is just… I love it
-
Have you even played? Nightstalker 3.0 is absolutely bonkers. 100% Invisibility uptime with suppressing glave and stylish executioner - plus mobious quiver dishes insane dps (400k+ if you hit all 9, with Orpheus Rig), produces insane orbs, and clears the entire room at the same time.
-
4 RepliesWhat? It friggin shreds, I can stay invisible forever! Smoke, grenades, knife melees, dodge all make you invis now. And it lasts longer. In PvE it’s overpowering. Also the reworked shadow shot with the two three arrow volleys does so much damage.
-
it’s kinda op in my opinion
-
I used stasis an half way through the legendary campaign, switch to void Hunter & had to switch off. It made it easy & I’ve always thought void Hunter is a huge crutch in pve with the invis.
-
2 RepliesEdited by Mareep: 2/22/2022 10:49:24 PMYeah they somehow even -blam!- up multi tether too. It used to be an amazing ad control super, but they doubled down on using it for dps. People were right, the bungie devs don't really understand hunter
-
1 ReplyIt's awful now that heart of the pack and combat provisions are gone, and all the "good" fragments come with stat penalties now. Nothing here is viable in endgame pve anymore unless your team is terrible and needs constant reviving, and if that's the case you're probably not clearing much endgame pve content anyway. Would 100% revert back to void 2.0 if I could.
-
I found it to be a small improvement but I’m not a player that plays off abilities a lot. Adding all grenades is nice. Haven’t switched to scatter grenades yet but wanna try
-
Gamblers dodge doesn't work for me

Edited by WhiteInk47: 2/24/2022 5:06:19 AMI really don’t understand this complaint ig I’m really enjoying all the new tweaks and additions to the Void Hunter Scatter grenades are a ton of fun, I can invis with both bombs and dodge, the bomb still debuffs, the marksman dodge animation goes further, and the aspects and fragments add more lethality in general
-
Really? I think its finally a viable support fpr PvE now. I have almost a 100% invisibility uptime using max strength and omnioculus.
-
Absolutely not 😂
-
As a hunter main, I actually enjoy void 3.0. A lot more than the old system
