Cross Save and DLC
So I may have screwed myself over, I started on playstation then moved over to pc and have been playing pc since Beyond Light and I have bought Witch Queen on pc. I no longer play on my playstation account so I thought if I disabled cross save my characters would still be saved on pc and progress would continue while my playstation account would stop being updated. One, does purchased DLC apply to the account or to the platform? and two, is there anyway the cross save deactivation can be reversed under a special circumstance due to this being done under verifiable ignorance?

[url]https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049498031-Destiny-2-Cross-Save-Guide[/url] DLC is bound to the platform where you purchase it, as the platform company is the one that grants and controls your license to that content. [quote][b]DLC Licenses and Cross Save[/b] DLC licenses, such as Beyond Light or Shadowkeep, do not transfer between platform accounts with Cross Save. Players who wish to access DLC on platforms they play on will need to purchase that DLC on that platform.[/quote] And the 90-day lockout is a security measure to help prevent fraud and activities that could compromise a player's account(s). There are no exceptions. [quote]If players disable their Cross Save for any reason they will have to wait out the 90-day lockout before they can enable Cross Save again. Please do a search for "Cross save issues" on Bungie.net or the Destiny app to bring up a help guide which covers this. No dlc do not transfer as they are controlled by the platform you bought it on not by Bungie. Season passes are controlled by Bungie and as such locked to the active characters on the account you bought it on (so with cross save the characters you picked as your main). No Bungie will not remove the 90 day cooldown period for any reason.

One: Platform, all DLC is platform based. Two: The wait period is mandatory and will not be removed or reversed.
