On 2/22/22, we will update our Find Fireteam feature here on Bungie.net to help combat spam posts advertising paid services. To create new fireteam posts, your account will need to have reached the Tower in-game and own any of these recent releases: The Witch Queen, 30th Anniversary, Beyond Light, or Shadowkeep. All accounts will continue to be able to join fireteams as normal once they have reached the Tower.

Netcode needs to be improved. Current poor netcode affects so many aspects of Destiny, including both Crucible and Gambit. Players with poor connections should not be given the advantage. Destiny is the only game that does this. It's why players use VPN to increase ping to get an advantage. British Esports recommends pings of less than 60ms, 100ms at absolute max. Destiny's average ping is above 200ms. I've seen players with 3000ms (yes 3 whole seconds). So many players blame this or that, but in reality most of these complaints are result of poor netcode. You can have the most balanced sandbox game in the world, but with poor netcode, it's pointless. You can have the best in industry skill based matchmaking algo, but with poor netcode, it's useless. The game should display players' pings in-game, so that players can make informed reports/complaints.

https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/262001678/0/0 I have some ideas that may be better for players that are more passive and there are many of them. So I know there are a variety of lfg sites and in-game options but perhaps there can be a feature that works actively instead of passively? It doesnt have to be in clan. What if there was an indicator such as on an emblem or a guardian glow, color-coded name or whatever that indicates that the said guardian is available for help? Maybe even as far as red (pvp), blue (pve), or violet for both? When I near the last few months or weeks to the end of a season and am leveled up I do enjoy helping other players, however some aren't as proactive enough to seek on an lfg site. Another thing to add is proximity chat (which can be made as an option to turn off not on). Proximity chat in which a guardian in a public space ( tower, helm, patrol, etc) can walk up to another and simply talk to them. "Hey, nice shader!" or "Hey would you like to do a Nightfall?" or "Where did you get that weapon?" There may be some other weird stuff but that'll just make game more entertaining. I did put the caveat of it being an option to turn off. I just think that would be a big improvement especially since the game can be a bit complicated to new folk as far as currencies, etc.

Why did your studio ever believe cross-play was a sound idea on a P2P mesh network infrastructure with a MM system that pulls players from every region across the web.. it's absolutely hands down one of the worst things ever implemented into the destiny franchise. Since cross-play was introduced into the ecosystem it's been non-stop issues across the board..from weapons to gear. FOV & FPS, older generational hardware problems.. cheating..with 3party device's, at the early stages things were not great but players had movement and at a time many options within the sandbox to try and have fun with now it's hard meta load outs or stack..why because if you don't due to leniency & region you simply can't win the fight..and lose The player numbers are dropping because the community has had enough of being disrespected as players we all paid for the game we don't want everything handed to us ..we just want a level field of play. I've lost count of the amount of times I off load into a player only for him to take no damage and one burst me due to double damage glitch. I used to play comp for hours and enjoy 6s...now are just an unenjoyable experience of players teleporting around the map with forerunner or linears..or you get error coded (then a suspension)..and yes now the penalty is in 6s..as you already know. Why was the core of Destiny 2 pvp superstructure not made rock solid before the charges were made??.. I simply can't understand why a studio that wanted autonomy so badly has now gone into yet another 3.6 billion contract and tried so hard to go down a road no one wanted or asked for.. In air accuracy and movement NERF only punishes competent players..and rewards passive play.. Your studio still has not given a valid reason for why these changes where justified.

Edited by PerverseWolf: 10/23/2022 11:19:37 PMThis isn't going to help at all. The people responsible will just need to beat the tutorial It is practically guaranteed that they have all the dlc already. the requirements should be far more tenous and require a grind that makes you go ugh this isn't worth repeating hundreds of times just to be able to advertise. something like beat two of the three dlc story campaigns, unlock all four subclasses and obtain all aspects/fragments, reach set ranks in gambit, crucible & vanguard playlists and then finally have x amount of hours in activities just to name a few before being able to make a post. they do it because it's easy to make new bot accounts and then make ads so make it take far longer for them to set up eventually they will just stop until it becomes easier.

Edited by Kuzie: 10/30/2022 12:59:24 AMI just received an update for the game could you please tell me what it's in regards too Thanks Update: thanks for the complete lack of interest in answering a simple question 👍

Is the tower space going to be increased, or will we be trying to join an getting the lobby full message?
-
Alternatively you could implement matchmaking throughout the game, as well as lfg, then we won't have to waste ages looking for a team?
-
I've been wanting to tackle more raids, noice

When are you gonna get your heads out of your asses and get with the new programs. Those of us who have Steam Decks wants to play Destiny without Windows. SteamOS is the future. Make your Anti-Cheat work with SteamOS. Respawn made Apex Legends work with SteamOS with their Anti-Cheat and so can you. Get with it Bungie.
