So, I used to play Destiny 2 when it first came out and a little after the first DLC. I stopped playing a little after 2019 when I moved across the US and started a new career. Since then, my mom and I haven't spent much time together, she lives across the US in Kentucky and I'm still here in Nevada now. She is pushing 70 this year and she's been hooked on Destiny 2 and the new DLC's. I remembered I had bought not just the base game, but the annual pass bundle as well, and looked into redownloading the game and being able to play with her cross platform. I saw that Battle.net no longer has Destiny 2 in their launcher and I can migrate it to my steam account? The links I've found are broken, and I saw somewhere that there was a limit on the amount of time you could transfer the game?
I spent over $150 on this game, for the full 60 dollar version on release, the dlc bundle with annual pass and other micro transactions. Is that really all a waste because I had to stop gaming for a few years and focus on my career? I just want to play with my mom after im off work, because I dont know how long I'll be able to get to do that with her. I have the battle.net account, access to the purchase transactions and the transaction ID's of everything I had purchased. The account still shows active on the battlenet account, per the image, and if needed I can provide all proof of purchase. I've never heard of a game purchase becoming "void" just because it moved platforms. There has to be a way for me to get my destiny account back, or at least get an account reimbursed? Thank you for your time.

5 RepliesHey, Unfortunately the deadline to migrate from Battle.net (Activision) to Steam was December 1st 2020, you will no longer be able to migrate your data over and will have to start fresh on Steam. Additionally any sort of refund or reimbursement for the DLC you have paid for will have to go through battle.net as Bungie do no handle the payment and management of DLC licenses.
Beginning on December 1, 2020, at 9 AM PST, Blizzard's Battle.net accounts will no longer be available for users to log in with on Bungie.net or the Destiny Companion app, nor will users be able to create Bungie profiles using Battle.net credentials.
For more information have a look at the PC Migration article.
