Name Changed to "Guardian"
My name on steam was "Dr. Brappy" and now my destiny name is stuck at "Guardian". My name was automatically changed, and I had no vulgarity in it. This is really dumb, especially since they said they would change it in a future update and it seems that nothing has changed. I literally had no oppurtunity to change it, they just "auto assigned" my name like what is that supposed to mean. I should be able to pick my own username in the game, didn't we get past that in like the 2000s that people have their own desired username? The fact that there is no place I can directly ask a bungie admin for help is mind boggling, all I can do is post here on the forums. I have been a Destiny player since 2015, and now I see that bungie really does not care about their players whatsoever, saying they'd change the name for a future update 6 MONTHS AGO. I really don't understand what you guys at bungie were thinking with this auto assigning name thing but I'm sorry its just so stupid, and the fact that they didn't even offer to allow me to change is even more dumb.

It took the name of whatever platform you logged in first when cross play became live. Please see the below quote as to how Bungie determined what names turned into "Guardian".
