PS5 Controller getting identified as Xbox controller on pc
Not sure what happened because my dual sense Controller was working normally with destiny 2 a couple days ago, but no for some reason the game is saying its an Xbox controller and I've tired literally everything from the controller settings on steam to uninstalling steam and reinstalling steam anyone have idea why this is happening and is there away to fix it cause getting really annoyed pushing the touchpad and my game freaking out and doing random -blam!-

Hey, Often with the case of hardware issues, drivers are to blame. It appears that currently Windows does not have the correct and compatible drivers for PS5 controllers and treats them as an Xbox controller. A Windows update could of caused this to happen and caused the controller layout to reset to default, you can try the following in steam as an attempt to get the proper mapping/layout back.
