Void 3.0...Nova Bomb?
Hi Bungie
The Nova Bomb is in a miserable state. I mean, a super can't kill two opponents up close in PvP is not a good super. Could you rethink? The Destiny 1 Nova Bom is glorious but admittedly too powerful but then now, look at the bomb slowly travelling...It's like a joking balloon for others to laugh at.

1 ReplyIt kills anything within 10 meters of its explosion + the seekers. It is also the highest damage super without exotic...outdamaging even a celestal crit .

I’ve always hated Slowva. It’s a miserable super to use and I’m pretty sick of it getting sucked away from bosses or groups of enemies because one lone enemy decided to walk into its tracking radius at the last second. If they’d take the tracking off of it and have the four seekers just be a sort of cluster bomb to increase the AoE I’d like it more. Only reason I ever used it was because vortex was even worse. Now that’s getting a buff which is great, but everything they listed about the other one was the same which is extremely disappointing in my opinion. I was hoping for an upgraded version of OG shatter to replace it. I mean even Nova Warp is getting a buff in that you can literally select VORTEX BLASTS for the super. Hell, people have been asking for shatter or Lance to return for years! Like I’m grateful and all for the changes, but couldn’t they do anything about the slowva? I don’t care that it tracks. The tracking is probably the worst part for me lmao. Even enemy guardians can outrun that thing AND it’s seekers relatively easily, ugh I know some people are down with it but I just can’t stand it personally. That’s just my opinion.

2 RepliesUse Vortex. It’s the same nova Bomb as in D1. Higher speed and can’t be blown up in mid-air. It’s even getting a buff in WQ that should effectively increase its radius.

If your nova bombs can‘t kill 2 opponents my question is: What are you doing with your Nova bombs?

I miss lance nova bomb, it was hands down the best nova bomb in pvp back in D1. The split nova bomb was glorious on pve though

Nova bomb has no issues killing people, though that's actually when it hits. On certain maps its terrible do to the fact that it has the tendency to clip walls and track random targets. Other than that its pretty good as a shutdown/panic super.

Don’t underestimate the balloon. Mix it with tether and you got 10K damage in trials. I evaporated a bubble and the titans within
