At first it made some sort of sense that dlc players had more powerful weapons, it was slightly unfair in pvp, but i liked that sort of challenge, trials of Osiris was hell, but we, the free to play players knew that we were fighting in underhanded conditions, but we still took the challenge, it was harsh but that's how we roll, we take the worse of gaming companies and make it work, it made sense that we only had that one dungeon and that one raid, sure, it was obvious this is a pay to play game, not a free to play one at that point. Now you don't take in account free to play players fill your servers and make your game what has become now, my effort now seem like a disappointing waste of my time after you removed the only game modes that i actually enjoyed and was both trilled and looked forward to, the only reason i logged in with the chance to actually play something difficult, but you decided to cut that off too, nightfall and trials of osiris are no more for ftp players, the paywall rose, and with that any chance to actually feel you care for us and give us something worth the grind to be at the dlc owners level or at least try to, but now this game feels even emptier, feels like i'm not wanted, like every bit of my 1k hours in this game was but a tease to bait me into feel guilty for not having/wanting to spend money on your game. It's not even about the money, it's about the challenge, the honor, the experience, the underdog that want to beat others with stronger weapons, it started because i didn't had any money to spend on dlc, but now i do have the money, and never will, just because how you guys have set it up, i'd buy dlc if it were other way, but now that i know that you only care about dlc owners i don't want any other thing but to leave, feel insulted and discriminated for being free to play, i thought you at least would have the decency of giving us a chance to get trials and nightfall weapons before they're gone from the loot pool, but today someone told me that this was permanent, that there was no chance of that happening, so now I'm seriously considering to delete the game from my steam library and forget about it and the frustration and sadness you have given me. You have chosen poorly and you should be ready for the consequences. Edit: Had an epiphany and remembered what selling technique bungie remind me of and why it trigger me so much I can’t even think on giving them money, drug dealers!!! This is how drug dealers selling techniques work: they’re pretty nice at you at the beggining, they sell you their stuff really cheap, fee even, to build your trust and for you to think they’re nice, then when they have the hook on you, they start treating you worse and worse, start being unavailable, they start giving you less for more $, and push it to keep you desperate, if you have money, you won’t suffer much but if you’re brok and in need of their product, you’ll do anything to get it. doesn’t that remind you of something? Submit, do not question the authority, consume, conform, obey, stay asleep, you’re all well trained and you deserve what you get.
