I've seen a few posts about this, but no real solution.
When I launch Destiny 2 from the Xbox App on my PC ( Windows 11 ), I just get a popup saying it needs to install dependencies, I allowed it, and then it sits at the install screen.
I've seem some people say it happens cuz the game is installed on "D" but I have the XBox App installing on C.
I disabled the setting in the Xbox App to use "Advanced Installation and Management features" and the game ran the next time I launched it ( even though I got the never ending dependencies thing, I just canceled it ) but now it's not starting again.
#1. How do I report this bug?
#2. Anyone solve this issue?
Thanks.
UPDATE: So the problem is related to XBox PC insider app on the PC. Go into Settings, General, and disable "Use Advanced Installation and Management Features", then uninstall Destiny 2, and then reinstall the game, it has to do with the game not being in the directory that Destiny ( or more specifically BattlEye ) expects it to be in. I think you can re-enable that setting after installing.

To Add Details: Windows Version 21H2 OS Build 22000.493 XBox App Version : 2201.1001.8.0 Game Services Version: 3.62.4001.0 5.721.12013.0 (Xbox Game Bar) And I'm on the PC Insider Version of the App.
